The Jobs Report provides a view of all jobs created or completed within a selected period.
This includes both active and historical jobs, depending on the filters applied.
This report helps users to:
Monitor job activity across branches, customer accounts, sites, and engineers.
Review the lifecycle of each job from creation to completion.
Track workload distribution across engineers.
Analyse job types, equipment, and chargeable work.
Support operational reviews, auditing, and customer reporting.
Getting There
To access the Jobs Report in Service Geeni, follow these steps:
Open the Business Intelligence module.
Select the Reports sub-module.
In the Reports window, choose the Scheduling category.
Click the Jobs module to open the report.
Apply the desired filters (explained below), then click Apply to generate the report.
Available Filters and Their Impact
Use the filters at the top of the report to refine which jobs are displayed.
Branch: Filters the report by branch or depot. The report uses the branch selected in the main Service Geeni interface and displays jobs linked to that branch.
Period: Filters the report by job date. For active jobs, the creation date is used. For completed jobs, the completed date is used. Only jobs within the selected range are displayed.
Customer Account: Filters the report by customer account number. Only jobs linked to the selected account are displayed.
Site: Filters the report by customer site. Only jobs linked to the selected site are displayed.
Job: Filters the report by specific job number.
Job State: Filters the report by job state (Unissued, Issued, Scheduled). This shows where jobs sit within the workflow.
Job Status: Filters the report by job status. This reflects the operational or commercial progress of the job.
Engineer: Filters the report by engineers linked to the job. Includes all engineers assigned through sub-jobs.
Column Breakdown and Key Fields
Each row in the report represents a job record, with key job, equipment, and engineer details pulled from multiple tables via the stored procedure.

Location IDs | Equipment location IDs linked to the job. |
Job No. | Unique job number. |
State | Job state (Unissued, Issued, Scheduled). |
Status | Job status. |
Description | Job description or reason for call. |
Call Date | Date the job was created. |
Agreed Visit Date | Planned visit date. |
Completed Date | Date the job was completed. |
Engineer | Engineer(s) assigned to the job. |
Completed By Engineer | Engineer who completed the job. |
Job Type | Job type (e.g. Repair or Service). |
Charge Code | Cost code used for the job. |
Equipment IDs | Equipment linked to the job. |
Serial Number | Equipment serial number(s). |
Work Done | Work notes recorded on the job (if enabled). |
Insight: This report consolidates job-related data from Jobs, SubJobs, Equipment, Engineers, Job Types, and Cost Codes, giving a complete view of operational activity and job progression.
