Purpose of the Report

The LOLER Jobs Due Report provides visibility of all LOLER Thorough Examination service jobs that are currently Due or Late within a selected period.

This report enables planners, compliance teams, and managers to:

  • Monitor upcoming LOLER inspections approaching their target date.

  • Identify overdue (Late) LOLER jobs requiring immediate attention.

  • Track workloads by engineer, site, and equipment.

  • Support compliance with LOLER regulations by ensuring inspections are completed on time.

The report focuses exclusively on active, incomplete service jobs linked to Thorough Examinations, helping teams proactively manage statutory inspection obligations.


Getting There

To access the LOLER Jobs Due Report in Service Geeni:

  • Open the Business Intelligence module.

  • Select the Reports sub-module.

  • In the Reports window, navigate to the Scheduling category.

  • Select LOLER Jobs Due.

  • Add the required filters (outlined below), then click Apply to generate the report


Available Filters and Their Impact

Use the filters at the top of the report to control which LOLER jobs are displayed.

  • Period: Filters the report by the job’s Target Date.

    • Only jobs with a target date within the selected range are shown.

    • Determines whether jobs are classified as Due or Late

Use a short date range to focus on urgent or overdue inspections, or a wider range for planning.

  • Engineer: Filters jobs by the engineer assigned or booked to the task.

    • Useful for reviewing individual workloads and responsibilities.

Ideal for assessing upcoming LOLER work assigned to a specific engineer.

  • Equip. ID: Filters the report by a specific Equipment ID.

    • Enables compliance tracking for an individual asset.

Use this when investigating the inspection status of a particular piece of equipment.

  • Equipment Make: Limits results to jobs linked to a selected equipment manufacturer.

    • Supports manufacturer-specific compliance reviews

  • Equipment Model: Filters jobs by equipment model.

    • Useful for identifying trends or recurring inspection activity for specific models

  • Type Enquiry: Filters jobs by equipment type.

    • Enables focused reviews by equipment category

Each row in the report represents a single LOLER service task linked to an active job.

Insight: The Status column is automatically calculated based on the Target Date:

  • Jobs with a target date in the past are marked Late.

  • Jobs with a current or future target date are marked Due
