Let's get started!

The Current Jobs Report provides a view of all active jobs currently in progress across your organisation.

This includes jobs that are:

  • Unissued

  • Issued

  • Scheduled

This report helps users to:

  • Track jobs awaiting allocation or scheduling.

  • View jobs that have been issued or are in progress.

  • Identify engineers assigned to each job.

  • Review equipment linked to each job.

  • Monitor job creation dates, agreed visit dates, and status descriptions.

  • Improve scheduling efficiency and reduce delays in job progression.

Getting There

To access the Current Jobs Report in Service Geeni, follow these steps:

  • Open the Business Intelligence module.

  • Click on the Reports sub-module.

  • In the Reports window, navigate to the Scheduling category.

  • Click the Current Jobs module to open the report.

  • Add the desired filters (explained below), then click the Apply button to generate the report.

Available Filters and Their Impact

Use the filters at the top of the report to refine which jobs are displayed.

  • Branch: Filters the report by branch or depot. The report uses the branch selected in the main Service Geeni interface.

  • Period: Filters the report by job creation date. Only jobs created within the selected range are displayed.

  • Site: Filters the report by customer site ID.

  • Job: Filters the report by specific job numbers.

  • Job State: Filters the report by job state (Unissued, Issued, or Scheduled). This allows you to differentiate between backlog and active jobs.

  • Job Status: Filters the report by job status.

  • Engineer: Filters the report by the engineer assigned to the job. Only jobs linked to the selected engineer are displayed.

  • Job Type: Filters the report by job type (Repair Job or Service Job).
