The Stock Work In Progress Report provides visibility of stock items issued to jobs that are still active, recently completed, or pending invoicing.

This report helps users to:

  • Track stock issued to jobs, engineers, customers, and sites.

  • Monitor the cost, revenue, and profitability of stock used on jobs.

  • Review stock usage before invoicing.

  • Maintain traceability of issued items, including supplier and PO details.

  • Support financial reconciliation and job costing accuracy


Getting There

To access the Stock Work In Progress (WIP) Report in Service Geeni, follow these steps:

  • Open the Business Intelligence module.

    Click on the Reports sub-module.

  • In the Reports window, navigate to the Stock category.

  • Click the Stock Work In Progress module to open the report.

  • Add the desired filters (explained below), then click the Apply button to generate the report.


Available Filters and Their Impact

Use the filters at the top of the report to refine which stock issue records are displayed.

  • Branch: Filters the report by branch or depot. The report uses the branch selected in the main Service Geeni interface. If All Branches is selected, you can choose one or more branches. This allows you to review stock usage at branch or group level.

  • Engineer: Filters the report by engineer. This shows stock issued by or assigned to the selected engineer and helps monitor usage patterns.

  • Customer Account: Filters the report by customer account. This allows you to review stock usage and costs for specific customers.

  • Site : Filters the report by customer site. This helps analyse stock usage across different locations for multi-site customers.

  • Product Group : Filters the report by stock category. This allows you to identify high-usage product groups.

  • SKU : Filters the report by specific stock items. This allows you to trace individual parts or investigate discrepancies.
