The Possible Warranty Jobs report shows all jobs that may be covered under an equipment warranty. It helps service teams identify which jobs fall within warranty periods or usage limits so eligible work is not incorrectly billed.
Use this report to:
Identify jobs that may qualify for warranty coverage.
Monitor equipment usage against warranty limits (date-based or hour-based).
Support warranty claims and service planning.
Reduce unnecessary service costs by applying warranty correctly.
Getting There
When you need to run the Possible Warranty Jobs report:
Open the Business Intelligence module.
Click Reports.
In the Reports window, open the Scheduling category.
Select Possible Warranty Jobs.
Apply your filters, then click Apply to generate the report.
Available Filters and Their Impact
Use the filters at the top of the report to refine which possible warranty jobs are displayed.
Period: Filters by the job creation date. Only jobs created within the selected date range appear.
Job: Filters by specific job number(s). Use this when investigating an individual job.
Job Status: Filters by job status, such as Open or Completed. Use this to focus on jobs needing action or review completed warranty work.

Each row in the report represents a possible warranty job.

Call Date | Date the job was created. |
Job Number | Unique job number. |
Task Number | Task number linked to the job. |
Reason for Call | Description of the reported issue. |
Job State | Job state from system status. |
Job Status | Job status, such as Open or Completed. |
Equipment ID | Equipment identification number. |
Equipment Name | Equipment name. |
Warranty Name | Warranty is linked to the equipment. |
Warranty Start Date | Warranty start date. |
Warranty End Date | Warranty end date. |
Equipment Clock Hours | Total usage hours on the equipment. |
Warranty Clock Hours | Total warranty hours available. |
Regular review ensures warranty-covered jobs are identified early and not billed incorrectly.
