Available Filters and Their Impact
Use the filter at the top of the report to refine the displayed stock information.
Branch: Filters the report by branch or depot. The report uses the branch selected in the main Service Geeni interface. If All Branches is selected, you can choose one or more branches. This allows you to focus on a single depot or compare stock distribution across multiple locations.
Tabs Overview
The report contains two analytical views:
Stock by Location: Displays stock grouped by bin location. Shows on-hand quantity, reserved quantity, last issued date, and quantity issued over the last 12 months. This helps you understand what stock is held in each bin.
Location by Stock: Displays stock grouped by item. Shows how many bin locations each item occupies, along with on-hand and reserved quantities. This helps you assess stock distribution and storage efficiency.
Column Breakdown and Key Fields
Below is a breakdown of the key columns presented in the report. These apply across both tabs, though their grouping differs depending on the selected tab.
Column Name | Description |
Branch | Branch or depot where the stock is located. |
Part No. / SKU | Stock item number. |
Description | Description of the stock item. |
Bin No. | Bin location number (may show “–” if not assigned). |
On Hand | Available stock quantity (excluding quarantined stock). |
Reserved | Quantity allocated to jobs or internal use. |
Count of Bin Locations | Number of bins used for the item (Location by Stock view). |
Last Issued Date | Most recent issue date for the item. |
Qty. Issued Last 12 Months | Total quantity issued in the last 12 months. |
Insight: Items with high bin counts may indicate poor storage consolidation, while items with recent issue activity and high movement help identify fast-moving stock.

It is recommended that you review this report regularly to maintain accurate warehouse visibility, optimise storage, and support effective stock control.
