Overview
The Job Analysis - Time to Close dashboard provides insight into how long it takes jobs to be completed from the time they are logged or issued. It enables users to analyse job completion times, compare engineer performance, identify the quickest and slowest completed jobs, and monitor average completion times in days, hours, and minutes.
This dashboard is particularly useful for measuring operational efficiency, monitoring service performance, identifying bottlenecks, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Accessing the Dashboard
To open the dashboard:
Navigate to Self Service from the main navigation menu.
Open the All Standard Dashboards folder.
Locate Job Analysis - Time to Close.
Click Preview to open the dashboard.
Users can apply any available filters, and all KPI cards, charts, and tables will automatically refresh based on the selected criteria.

This page provides detailed information about individual job completion times, highlights the quickest and slowest completed jobs, and visualises how long jobs take to close.
Dashboard Filters
Completed Date
A start and end date range calendar picker used to filter jobs by their completed date.
Engineer
A dropdown filter allowing users to select a Completed Engineer.
Customer
A dropdown filter allowing users to select a customer account.
Site
A dropdown filter allowing users to select a site name and location.
Equipment
A dropdown filter allowing users to select equipment using the Equipment ID and description.

These values represent the elapsed time from the Call Date until the Completed Date.
Category
Job Number
Purpose
Displays the three jobs completed in the shortest amount of time. The visual uses conditional ranking to identify the quickest completed jobs based on the combined elapsed days, hours, and minutes.

These values represent the elapsed time from the Call Date until the Completed Date.

Purpose
Displays the three jobs that took the longest to complete, allowing users to identify unusually long completion times that may require investigation.
Data Table – Time to Complete Job
This table displays detailed information for each completed job.
Column Definitions
Job No. - Displays the unique job number.
Customer - Displays the customer associated with the job.
Account No. - Displays the customer account number.
Site - Displays the site name where the work was carried out.
Call Date - Displays the date and time the job was logged.
From Call Date - Displays the total elapsed time, in minutes, from the job's call date until completion.
From Issue - Displays the total elapsed time, in minutes, from the job's issued date until completion.
Completed - Displays the completed date and time of the job.
Engineer - Displays the engineer who completed the job.
Job Age - Categorises the overall completion time into predefined groups, such as:
1 Hour
2 Hours
1 Day
Over 1 Day
Over 1 Week
These categories help users quickly identify jobs based on how long they took to complete.

Purpose
Displays the number of completed jobs within each job age category, making it easy to compare completion time distributions.
