Let's get started!

The Parts Spent Report provides a clear summary of all stock items that have been issued within a selected time period and branch.

It gives operational and financial teams visibility into how stock is consumed across the business and helps you:

  • Monitor parts usage across branches and depots.

  • Understand the cost impact of issued stock.

  • Trace stock consumption back to specific jobs and job tasks.

  • Support accurate stock control and financial reconciliation.

  • Identify usage patterns to improve forecasting, planning, and budgeting.

This report is essential for organisations that need accurate insight into stock expenditure and job-related parts consumption.

Getting There

To access the Parts Spent Report in Service Geeni:

  • Open the Business Intelligence module.

  • Select the Reports sub-module.

  • Navigate to the Stock category.

  • Click the Parts Spent Report to open the report.

  • Apply the required filters, then click Apply to generate the valuation.

Available Filters and Their Impact

Use the filters at the top of the report to control which stock issue records are included.

  • Branch: Filters the report by the branch or depot where the stock item was issued. The report automatically follows the branch selected in the main Service Geeni interface. When All Branches is selected, you can manually refine which depots to include.

Use this filter to compare stock usage between branches or focus on consumption at a single depot.

  • Period: Filters results based on the Created Date of the stock issue record. Only stock items issued within the selected date range are included in the report.

Use shorter date ranges to analyse recent usage, or wider ranges to review long-term spending trends.
