Getting There
When you need to run the Equipment On Hire With Excess Usage report:
Open the Business Intelligence module.
Click Reports.
In the Reports window, open the Equipment category.
Select Equipment On Hire With Excess Usage.
Apply your filters, then click Apply to generate the report.
Available Filters and Their Impact

Branch: Filters by the branch selected in the main Service Geeni interface.
Leave blank to show all branches.

Each row in the report represents a piece of hired equipment and its associated usage data within the defined contract period.
Column Name | Description |
Contract Number | Unique identifier for the hire contract linked to the equipment. |
State | The current contract status (e.g., Active, Suspended, Expired, Off Hire, Terminated, PMCS Completed). |
Contract Start Date | The start date of the hire contract. |
Contract Expiry Date | The scheduled end date of the hire contract. |
Contract Term | Describes the type or duration of the hire term (e.g., Weekly, Monthly). |
Equipment | The equipment name or ID used in the hire agreement. |
Weekly Predicted Hours | The contracted expected usage hours per week. Used to assess whether equipment is being overused. |
Start of Clock Hours | The clock reading recorded at the start of the contract or report period. |
Last Clock Reading | The most recent recorded clock hours during the selected reporting period. |
Average Weekly Usage | The calculated average usage hours per week. This is derived through regression analysis (when sufficient data exists) or by averaging readings across the duration of the contract. If this exceeds the Weekly Predicted Hours, the equipment is flagged as having excess usage. |
