Let's get started!

Stock replenishment is the process of restocking inventory to ensure your business has enough stock to meet customer demand, avoiding stock shortages or overstocking.

Service Geeni will help you maintain the right levels for your business and this can be done automatically or manually.

Getting Started

  • You can access the replenishment section via the Stock menu and selecting Stock Replenishment.

Stock Replenishment

This is the best and quickest way to keep your stock replenished.

Against a stock record are the Bin Location & Reorder point lists, which state where the stock levels should be per bin location.

If a stock item goes below that defined threshold, it will appear in the Stock Replenishment module.

  • It will appear here:

If none are listed or none are available, it means no stock has been set yet, either because the stock level has been reached or has not been set/defined.

  • For this to work, Stock Replenishment requires the Re-order quantity value to be set on the stock record.

The reorder point can be set to 0, though; it doesn't need to be 1.

If none is listed, this is because the stock level has not been reached or set.

  • Select Van Location: Here, you can select which vans you want to replenish stock for.

    • Click on the ellipse and Select Van Location.

    • From the list, you can select the van/s.

  • Filter: If your restock section is rather busy, you may want to filter it. You could do this by Geographic area, team or subcontractor to pinpoint the search.

  • Include Depot / Branch Results: This tick box explicitly includes results for depot and branch replenishment.

  • You will see the Location Type is either Depot if 'including Deport and Branches results' or Engineer if using Van Location. In both cases, the Bin No will be listed.

Generate Multiple PO

This option lets you select multiple items from different suppliers to create multiple POs.

  • Using the plus button, expand the Supplier Replenishment list.

  • Now select the Re-order items to raise Purchase Orders (POs) for.

  • Click Generate Multiple PO.

  • Here, you can adjust the Re-Order Quantity.

  • Click Confirm Purchase Order.

Generate PO

  • If multiple POs are not needed, you can click on Generate PO.

  • Here you can raise a new Purchase Order.

  • When generating a PO separately, you have more flexibility in changing the purchase order.

Pro Tip: Use the Stock Replenishment report in Business Intelligence.

Congratulations, you have fulfilled your stock levels.

Trouble Shooting

If you encounter the message "Please select multiple items from different supplier to create multiple POs."

  • Go back and select more than one item.
