Service Geeni helps you manage your stock by using the Stock Replenishment module. Within this, you can set Re-Order Points and Re-Order Quantities for your bins to ensure that inventory is always stocked.

Re-Order Points are thresholds you set to indicate when it's time to re-order items, to avoid stock shortage.

Stock Replenishment is managed through these Re-Order Points on the stock record, ensuring your inventory levels are automatically maintained.

Getting There

Let's get started!

To edit Re-Order Points

  • Head to Stock Records via the Stock menu.

  • Then, click on the Stock records SKU number; this will open the Record Editor.

  • You'll notice the edit icon in the Action Bar; click it to proceed.

  • From here, scroll down to the Default Bin Locations and Re-Order Points section.

  • This is where you'll find your current Re-Order points.

Re-Order Point

When the stock level drops below the Re-Order Point, a re-order line is automatically added to the Stock Replenishment module.

The system will generate an order to bring the stock level back up to the specified Order Quantity.

For example:

Every Stock Record has a section for Re-Order Points, which can be set differently for each Bin Location.

This is useful if you want to keep a smaller quantity at the warehouse but ensure engineers always have enough stock in their vans or bins.

Example:

  • Re-Order Point = 10

  • Order Quantity = 20

Once the stock reaches the threshold of 10, the system will prompt you to reorder the suggested quantity, helping to keep your stock levels consistent.

Add a new Re-Order Point.

  • You can add a new Re-Order Point via the Add button.

  • Fill out the form, ensuring all mandatory* fields are completed.
