Overview
The Jobs Repairs dashboard provides an overview of repair jobs, including their current status, first-time fix performance, agreed visit trends, and detailed repair job information. It helps users monitor repair activity from the initial job stage through to completion.
Users can apply filters to narrow the results by date, customer, site, or equipment. All dashboard visualisations and data will automatically refresh based on the selected filters.
Accessing the Report
To access the Jobs Repairs dashboard:
From the navigation menu, select Self Service.
Open the All Standard Dashboards folder.
Locate Jobs Repairs.
Click Preview to open the dashboard.
Apply any required filters. The dashboard will automatically refresh based on the selected criteria.
Repairs
The Repairs page provides a summary of repair jobs, including their current status, first-time fix results, agreed visit trends, and detailed information for individual repair jobs.
Dashboard Filters
Filter | Description |
Period: Call Date | Allows users to select a start and end date to filter repair jobs based on the date the job was originally logged or called in. |
Period: Completed Date | Allows users to select a start and end date to filter repair jobs based on their completion date. |
Customer / Site: Customer | Filters the dashboard by customer name. |
Customer / Site: Site | Filters the dashboard by site, including the site name and location. |
Asset: Equipment | Filters the dashboard by equipment ID and equipment description. |
KPI Charts – Repair Summary
The KPI charts provide a quick overview of repair jobs according to their current stage in the repair process.
Unissued
Displays the distinct count of repair jobs where the Job State is "Unissued" and the Task Type is "Repair Job".
This helps users identify repair jobs that have been created but have not yet been issued for action.
Issued
Displays the distinct count of repair jobs where the Job State is "Issued" and the Task Type is "Repair Job".
This represents repair jobs that have been issued and are ready for the assigned engineer or team to work on.
Completed
Displays the distinct count of repair jobs where the Job State is "Completed", "Invoiced", or "Submitted", and the Task Type is "Repair Job".
This provides the total number of repair jobs that have reached completion or progressed to the invoicing or submission stages.
Pie Chart – Job Status
Value: Distinct count of job
Legend: Job State
Displays the distribution of repair jobs according to their current Job State.
The chart is filtered to Task Type = "Repair Job", allowing users to see how repair jobs are distributed across the different stages of the repair process.
Pie Chart – % First Time Fix
Value: Sum of First Time Fix
Displays the overall First Time Fix result for repair jobs.
The chart is filtered to Task Type = "Repair Job". This provides an indication of first-time repair performance and can help users understand how effectively repair jobs are resolved without requiring additional repair visits.
Stacked Column Chart – Agreed Visit Date
Value: Distinct count of job
Category: Agreed Visit Date – Year, then Month
Series: Job State
Shows the number of repair jobs based on their Agreed Visit Date, broken down by year and month.
The different Job States are displayed as separate series, allowing users to compare the status of repair jobs scheduled across different periods.
Note: The current dashboard configuration filters this chart by Task Type = "Service Job". This is retained as configured in the report.
Data Table – Repair Jobs
The data table provides detailed information for individual jobs and is filtered by Task Type = "Service Job" according to the current dashboard configuration.
Column | Description |
Agreed Visit | The agreed or scheduled date for the visit to carry out the required work. |
Job No. | The unique job number assigned to the job. |
Sub Job No. | The unique identifier for the sub-job associated with the main job, where applicable. |
Customer | The customer associated with the job. |
Customer No. | The unique account or customer number associated with the customer. |
Site | The site where the repair work is required. |
Equipment ID | The unique identifier of the equipment associated with the job. |
Call Date | The date when the job was originally logged or called in. |
Completed | The date when the job was completed. |
Job State | The current stage of the job, such as Unissued, Issued, Completed, Invoiced, or Submitted. |
Job Status | The current status or status description associated with the job. |
Engineer | The engineer assigned to or responsible for carrying out the work. |
Task Description | A description of the task or work required for the job. |
Cost Code | The cost or charge code associated with the job, indicating the relevant cost or billing category. |
Final Remarks
The Jobs Repairs dashboard provides a focused view of repair activity, allowing users to quickly monitor unissued, issued, and completed repair jobs.
The Job Status chart provides a visual breakdown of repair jobs by their current state, while the First Time Fix chart provides an indication of repair effectiveness. The Agreed Visit Date chart helps users monitor repair workload over time.
The detailed data table can be used to review individual jobs, including their customer, site, equipment, agreed visit date, completion date, assigned engineer, task description, and cost code.
Users can combine the available Call Date, Completed Date, Customer, Site, and Equipment filters to focus the dashboard on specific repair activity.
