Let's get started!

The KPI Viewer in Service Geeni provides a centralised dashboard for monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) across different operational areas such as jobs, services, equipment, and contracts.

It allows users to:

  • Quickly assess performance using KPI tiles.

  • Drill down into detailed reports.

  • Apply filters globally or per KPI.

  • Export and analyse data for decision-making.

The KPI Viewer is part of the Business Intelligence functionality within Service Geeni.

Getting There

  • Go to the Business Intelligence module.

  • Select KPI Viewer.

  • The KPI Business Intelligence window will open

KPI Viewer

Within the viewer, you have three main tabs.

  • KPI Viewer: Displays KPI tiles.

  • Reports: Shows detailed report outputs.

  • Self Service: Access to additional reporting tools.

KPI Tiles and Colour Legends

Each KPI is displayed as a tile showing a numeric value or percentage, along with a colour indicator representing performance.

Colour Indicators

  • Green: Satisfactory performance.

  • Yellow: Warning (requires attention).

  • Red: Critical (immediate action required).

  • Blue: Used in specific KPIs with unique rules.

  • Grey: KPI requires a single branch selection, but the system is currently set to multiple branches

If a KPI tile appears grey, ensure that only one branch is selected in the filters.

Global KPI Filters (Edit All)

Click the gear icon beside KPI Viewer to open the Edit All panel.

Available Filters

  • Branch

  • Period

  • Include Operator Error Jobs (checkbox).

  • Click Apply to update all KPI tiles and reports based on the selected criteria.

Individual KPI Filters

Each KPI tile has its own gear icon.

  • Allows customising filters for that specific KPI.

  • Overrides global filters if needed.

  • Click Apply to refresh the selected KPI.

Enabling KPI Access

Access to KPI reports depends on user permissions.

To enable them:

  • Navigate to User Settings.

  • Select User Group Access

  • Edit the desired user group via the Action Tray.

  • Under Module Access, select the desired KPIs.

  • Click Save when you have made your selection.

  • KPI availability may vary depending on system configuration and customer setup.

  • Some KPIs may include custom logic or visualisations specific to certain customers.

  • Always verify filters before analysing KPI results to ensure accuracy.
