The Total Services/Repairs report provides a comprehensive overview of all service and repair jobs raised within a selected period.

This report enables service managers and operational teams to:

  • Analyse the volume of Service Jobs versus Repair Jobs.

  • Monitor job activity across branches, customers, and sites.

  • Review equipment-related service history and job statuses.

  • Identify trends in maintenance and repair demand.

By combining detailed job data with visual insights, this report supports effective planning, performance tracking, and operational decision making.


Getting There

To access this report:

  • Open the Business Intelligence module.

  • Click on the KPI Viewer module.

  • Locate the Total Services/Repairs report tile.

  • Click the report tile to generate the report.

Alternatively:

  • Click the gear icon on the lower-right corner of the report tile.

  • Add or modify filters as required.

  • Generate the report.


Available Filters and Their Impact

Use the filters at the top of the report to control which service and repair jobs are displayed.

  • Period: Filters the report by the job creation date. Only jobs created within the selected date range are included.

  • Branch: Filters jobs by the selected branch or depot.

  • Customer Account: Filters the report by the selected customer account number. Displays only jobs raised for the chosen customer.

  • Site: Filters jobs by customer site.

  • Before / After Set Up Date: Filters equipment records before or after a specific setup date, depending on the selection.

  • Set Up Date: Works together with the Before / After Set Up Date filter. Filters jobs based on the equipment’s setup date relative to the selected date.


Charts

This displays the total number of jobs grouped by Task Type:

  • Service Job

  • Repair Job

This chart provides a quick visual comparison of service versus repair activity within the selected criteria.


Column Breakdown and Key Fields

Each row in the report represents a service or repair job.

Column Name

Description

Branch

Name of the depot or branch handling the job.

Customer Name

Customer account requesting the service or repair.

Site Name

Site location associated with the job.

Job No.

Unique job identifier combining job and task numbers.

Job Description

Description of the specific task or issue.

Equipment ID

Identifier of the equipment being serviced.

Make

Manufacturer of the equipment.

Model

Equipment model.

Type

Equipment category or classification.

Serial Number

Equipment serial number.

Year of Manufacture

Year the equipment was manufactured.

Task Type

Indicates Service Job or Repair Job.

Call Date

Date the job was created.

State

Current job status.

Insight: Tracking Task Type alongside equipment details helps identify assets that require frequent repairs versus routine servicing.

The Total Services/Repairs report is a key operational tool for monitoring maintenance activity across Service Geeni.

By using this report, teams can:

  • Track service and repair workloads efficiently.

  • Identify recurring equipment issues.

  • Improve maintenance planning and resource allocation.

  • Support service performance reviews and reporting.

Review this report regularly - weekly or monthly - to spot emerging repair trends, ensure servicing schedules are maintained, and proactively manage equipment reliability.
