The Equipment Not Safe For Use report provides visibility of equipment safety status across customers and sites. Use this report to identify equipment that has been marked as safe or not safe for use, helping teams monitor safety compliance and prioritise equipment that may require attention.
This report helps teams to:
Identify equipment that has been marked as not safe for use.
Monitor equipment safety compliance across customers and sites.
Support safety audits and compliance reviews.
Reduce operational risk by identifying unsafe equipment.
Review overall safety trends across the equipment base.
Getting There
To access the Equipment Not Safe For Use Report in Service Geeni:
Open the Business Intelligence module.
Select the KPI Viewer sub-module.
Locate and select the Equipment Not Safe For Use report.
Select the report tile to generate the report.
Filters and Data Scope
This report does not include any user-selectable filters.
The data displayed is automatically based on:
Active equipment records.
Equipment marked as Safe For Use = Yes or Safe For Use = No.
The branches, customers, and sites available to the user are based on their Service Geeni permissions.
Note: Because there are no report filters, the data always reflects the current safety status of all available equipment records.
Tabs Overview
The report provides two views that help analyse equipment safety status from different perspectives.
View by Type: Groups equipment based on its safety classification.
Displays the distribution of equipment marked as Safe versus Not Safe for use.
This view is particularly useful when focusing on equipment marked as Not Safe, allowing teams to quickly identify assets that may require inspection, repair, or removal from service.
View by Status: Provides a summary of equipment safety status across all available records.
Displays the count or proportion of equipment by safety status.
This view makes it easy to compare the number of assets currently marked as safe against those marked as not safe, helping identify potential compliance or operational risks.
Column Breakdown and Key Fields
Each row in the report represents a single piece of equipment with a defined safety status.

Account Name | Customer account to which the equipment is assigned |
Site ID | Customer site ID where the equipment is located |
Equipment ID | Unique identification number of the equipment |
Make | Manufacturer or brand of the equipment |
Model | Specific model of the equipment |
Type | Category or classification of the equipment |
Safe For Use | Indicates whether the equipment is marked as safe (“Yes”) or not safe (“No”) |
Insight: Equipment marked as No in the Safe For Use column represents equipment that may require immediate attention. Regular review of these records can help reduce operational risk, support compliance requirements, and ensure equipment remains safe for continued use.
