The following fixes and improvements were included in version Mobile_7.0.44 (Mobile), released on 22 October 2026.
Enhancements (1)
Enhanced Connection Status Screen on Mobile
Engineers can now see a fuller Connection Status screen in the mobile app, showing their name and number, device name and model, app version, platform, and when the last request was processed, succeeded or failed. An activity log lets users view all recent activity or filter to failures only. Devices moving to the new connection service now reconnect automatically after being offline, and jobs issued while offline are still processed correctly. This makes it easier for engineers and support teams to check a device's connection and spot problems quickly.
Fixes (20)
Labour Date Kept When Editing Booked Time
When engineers edited the time on a labour entry booked for a past or future date, the View/Edit Labour screen changed the entry's date to today. This has now been fixed. The original labour date is now kept when the time is edited, so labour records stay accurate.
Deactivated Equipment Models Hidden on Mobile App
Equipment models that had been deactivated were still appearing in the model list on the mobile app, which could confuse engineers. The mobile app now shows only active models, while deactivated models remain in the system for historical records.
Book Parts Quantity Fully Visible on iPhone
On some iPhones, items on the Book Parts screen overlapped and the Quantity field was partly hidden, so engineers had to scroll to see it. This has now been fixed. Stock details and quantity now display clearly without any overlap.
Email Attachments Now Readable on Engineer Devices
Emails attached to a job were showing as special characters or unreadable text when opened on engineers' devices. This has now been fixed. Email attachments now open in a clear, readable format from the job documents.
Blank Activities No Longer Appear on Timesheets
Some engineers' timesheets showed entries with a blank activity, even on the latest version of the mobile app. This has now been fixed. Activities recorded on the mobile app now appear on the timesheet with their correct description, giving managers accurate timesheet records.
Stricter Device Name Checks for Engineer Registration
Mobile device registration now checks whether a device name is already in use when an engineer short code is generated. The same engineer can reuse their own device name, but different engineers cannot register devices under a name that is already taken. This keeps device registrations unique and makes it easier to identify which device belongs to which engineer.
Access Time Display Setting Now Respected on Mobile
Access times were showing on mobile job tabs even when the option to display them was switched off. This has now been fixed. Access times now only appear when this option is turned on, so engineers only see the job information the business has chosen to display.
Collected Quantity Locked for Scanned Products
After scanning a product's barcode, engineers could still change the Collected Quantity by hand, which risked incorrect quantities being recorded. This has now been fixed. The collected quantity is now locked for scanned products and always reflects what was scanned.
Scanned Barcode Details Kept When Editing Products
When a product collected by scanning its barcode was saved and then edited again, the scanned barcode details were missing. This has now been fixed. Scanned barcode information is now kept and shown when the product is edited, keeping product records accurate.
Forms Only Added When Service and Equipment Types Match
Some forms, such as thorough examination forms, were being added to mobile jobs that did not have the required service type, even when the form was set to be included only when both the service and equipment types matched. This has now been fixed. The mobile app now follows this setting correctly, so engineers only see the forms that are relevant to the job.
Agreed Visit Date and Time Now Shown on Mobile
Agreed visit dates and times set in the web app were not always showing on the mobile app, particularly on jobs with more than one task. This has now been fixed. Engineers now see the task's agreed date and time where one is set, the job's agreed date and time where it is not, and "Not Set" when neither has been entered.
Offline Alert When Refreshing Individual Data Files
When engineers refreshed an individual data file without a network connection, the refresh failed with no message, so there was no way to tell it had not worked. This has now been fixed. The mobile app now shows an alert when there is no connection, making it clear the refresh did not complete.
Closure Code Field Tidied on the Work Done Screen
On the Work Done screen, the Closure Code field showed an incorrect header and a dropdown icon that was not needed, so it looked different from the Root Cause field. This has now been fixed. The field now shows a clear "Select Closure Code" prompt, matches the Root Cause field layout, and displays only the chosen closure code once selected.
Control Over Repair Task and Add Site Job Options on Mobile
The Repair Task and Add Site Job options were always available to engineers in the mobile app, including when completing a job, even where a business did not want engineers raising these jobs. This has now been fixed. Each option can now be shown or hidden through its own setting, giving businesses control over which jobs engineers can raise from the field. To change these settings, please contact Customer Success.
Equipment Job History Stays Visible on Mobile
The Equipment Job History screen went blank when an engineer moved to another history screen and then came back. This has now been fixed. The history now reloads correctly each time, so engineers can move between history screens without losing the equipment's job history.
Job Numbers Now Display Correctly on Mobile
Some jobs, including jobs created in the web app, were showing on the mobile app with the placeholder number "T0" instead of their job number. This has now been fixed. Jobs now show their correct job number on engineers' devices.
Change Equipment Now Filtered to the Job's Site
When a job had no equipment assigned, Change Equipment listed equipment from every site rather than just the job's site. This has now been fixed. The list now shows only equipment at the job's site, making it quicker for engineers to pick the right item.
Faster Part Search When Booking Stock on Mobile
Searching for parts when booking stock to a job could be very slow on larger stock lists, with typed characters delayed or lost. This has now been fixed. Search now responds smoothly as engineers type, even with large stock lists and kit parts, making it quicker to find and book the right parts.
Work Done Notes Kept After Uploading Images
Work Done notes were disappearing from the mobile app after images were uploaded, even though they had saved successfully. This has now been fixed. Notes and images now stay visible after saving, syncing and reopening the job, and match what is shown in the web app.
App No Longer Crashes When Adding Work Done Photos
The mobile app could crash when engineers added photos to Work Done notes or closed the photo gallery without choosing a photo. This has now been fixed. The app now stays responsive, and Work Done notes and photos are kept correctly.
