Let's take a look!
We're rolling out a refreshed interface designed to make Service Geeni cleaner, faster, and easier to navigate. Kit Parts and On Demand Parts have been redesigned to make information easier to read, speed up everyday tasks, and create a more consistent experience.
Note: These changes are mostly visual. You can still do everything you could before, and some tasks now take fewer clicks. |
Kit Parts: What's Changed?
Fields and actions are easier to manage
Fields on the Kit Parts screen are now better aligned, making them easier to read and quicker to edit.
The long vertical list of buttons has been replaced with two clear levels of action buttons. Your most-used actions stay prominent, while the rest sit neatly behind them, so you're never overwhelmed by options.
Quicker quantity updates
The screen now uses fewer colours, so your data and content take the focus.
Updating quantities is quicker too. Just click the Required Quantity in Kit Parts, type the new number, and save. There are no extra clicks and no separate edit screen.
Action buttons are easier to spot
The layout has been tidied up to give you a clearer view of each record.
The action buttons at the top of the screen now use distinct colours, so you can spot the action you need and click it without thinking twice.
More space to view details
You now get more space to view the details of each record.
Drop-down sections open right where you are, so there's no more hunting for the right button. Each record is also easier on the eye, making scanning through them quicker.
On Demand Parts: What's Changed?
Stock information is always in view
Stock status and related quantities now appear at the top of the page.
You can refer to them wherever you're working, not just on the data grid. Fields are also aligned both vertically and horizontally, giving the whole page a tidier layout that's easier to scan.
Data grids fit your screen.
Data grids are now laid out horizontally to fit your screen.
There's no sideways scrolling and no wall of data. Each section is shown one at a time, so you can focus on what's in front of you instead of everything at once.
