The following fixes and improvements were included in version Mobile_7.0.42 (Mobile), released on 24 September 2026.
Enhancements (5)
QR code registration is now the primary option on mobile
On the mobile registration screen, QR code registration now appears first and no longer carries the Beta label, while the WMB password option is labelled 'Legacy'.
This guides engineers towards the recommended QR code method when setting up their device.
Block job completion while a purchase order/part request is open.
The Mobile app can now stop users from completing a job while it still has an open purchase order, showing an alert instead. Jobs with no open purchase order complete as usual.
_This feature is configurable and switched off by default, so contact Customer Success to have it enabled._
Custom Address Support for Job-Based Part Requests
Engineers can now enter, save, and select a Custom Address when raising a job-based Part Request in the Mobile App
Upload HEIC photos from the mobile app
Users can now upload HEIC image files when adding documents on the mobile app, so photos taken on Apple devices can be attached without converting them first.
Uploaded HEIC files are stored and can be viewed like any other supported document.
Capture a closure code when completing jobs on mobile
Engineers can now select a closure code when completing a job on the mobile app, chosen from a flat list that supports multiple languages in line with the user's app language.
The selected closure code is sent to the back office as part of job completion, giving clearer, standardised reasons for how jobs were closed. The closure code prompt is configuration-controlled — please contact Customer Success to enable it.
Fixes (9)
Corrected Job Header Status After Attempt or Omit
Updated the Mobile App header to display the latest Attempted or Omitted status after returning to the Home screen, until the engineer starts the next activity.
Type values directly into Collected Qty and Weight Collected
On the mobile Products tab, the Collected Qty and Weight Collected fields could only be changed with the plus and minus buttons, which was impractical for large quantities or weights.
This has been fixed so values can now be typed directly into both fields, and the label now reads 'Weight (Kg) Collected'. Drivers can record collections quickly without tapping repeatedly.
Reliably add parts to jobs on mobile
Engineers intermittently saw a 'stock booking failed' error when adding parts to jobs on the mobile app, even when stock was available, because parts could be booked before the local receipt data had finished loading.
This has been fixed so parts are only booked once that data is ready. Engineers can add parts to jobs without hitting intermittent stock booking errors.
Updated Minimum Fill Level for Job Products
Updated the Fill Level slider available when editing a Fill Level-enabled product from the Product tab while working on a job. The slider now has a minimum value of 0%, preventing negative Fill Level values from being selected or saved
Corrected “Action” Label on the Product Screen
Corrected the spelling of the “Action” label displayed when viewing and editing a product in the Mobile App
Improved Cancel Icon Alignment on In-Progress Job Cards
Improved the Mobile App UI to ensure the Cancel (X) icon is correctly positioned within In-Progress Job Cards without overlapping the card border or other elements
Improved Scan Van Camera Behaviour
Updated the Mobile App to ensure the Scan Van camera opens consistently when changing activity from either the Main Job List or within a Job
Part Request SKU Selection UI Improvements
Improved the Part Request UI to ensure the Select option is fully visible and accessible when selecting an SKU, without requiring horizontal scrolling
Labour time bookings captured for direct booking
Some engineers' labour time bookings made using direct booking (rather than the stopwatch) were not appearing against jobs.
This has been investigated and addressed so that labour time booked directly is recorded against the job, so recorded hours are complete.
