Overview
The Customer Profitability - Revenue dashboard provides an overview of customer invoicing, job revenue, site revenue, profitability, chargeable job spend, and revenue versus cost performance. It allows users to analyse revenue and profitability across customers, sites, cost codes, job types, and different time periods.
Users can apply filters to focus the dashboard on specific customers, invoice dates, completed dates, sites, or job cost codes. The visualisations will automatically refresh based on the selected filters.
Accessing the Report
To open the Customer Profitability - Revenue dashboard:
From the navigation menu, click Self Service.
Open the All Standard Dashboards folder.
Locate Customer Profitability - Revenue.
Click Preview to open the dashboard.
Apply any desired filters. The dashboard will automatically refresh based on the selected filters.

1. Customer Invoicing
The Customer Invoicing page provides an overview of invoice values by customer and allows users to analyse invoicing trends across different periods.
Dashboard Filters
Invoice Date
Filters the dashboard by a selected invoice date range using a start and end date.
Customer
Filters the results by customer name and customer number.
Job Cost Code
Filters the results by the job cost code associated with the work.
KPI Charts
Top 3
Displays the three customers with the highest total invoice value based on the selected filters.
Bottom 3
Displays the three customers with the lowest total invoice value based on the selected filters.
Sum of Invoice Total
Displays the total value of invoices within the selected filters.

Total – Sum of invoice total.

This view provides the total invoiced value for each customer.

2. Customer Revenue
The Customer Revenue page provides an overview of revenue generated from jobs and allows users to compare open and completed job revenue across customers and time periods.
Dashboard Filters
Completed Date
Filters the results by a selected completed date range using a start and end date.
Customer
Filters the results by customer name and customer number.
Job Cost Code
Filters the results by the job cost code associated with the job.
KPI Charts
Revenue
Displays the total job revenue for the selected filters.
Open Jobs
Displays job revenue from jobs currently in Issued or Unissued states.
Closed Jobs
Displays job revenue from jobs in Completed, Invoiced, or Submitted states.

Values: Sum of job revenue
Axis: Completed Date – Year, then Quarter

The Site Revenue page provides a detailed view of revenue generated at individual customer sites and compares different revenue categories.

The Profitability / Performance page provides an overview of job profit and highlights the highest- and lowest-performing customers.

Displays the total job profit within the selected filters.
Completed Jobs
Displays job profit from jobs in Completed, Invoiced, or Submitted states.
Open Jobs
Displays job profit from jobs in Issued or Unissued states.
Performance KPI Charts
Bottom 3 Poor Performers – Displays the three customers with the lowest job profit.
Top 10 Performers – Displays the ten customers with the highest job profit.
Pie Chart - Profit by Account
Values: Sum of job profit
Legend: Account and No.
Shows the contribution of each customer to the overall job profit.
Stacked Column Chart - Best Month on Year

The Chargeable Job Spend page provides an overview of revenue and costs associated with chargeable jobs, including a breakdown by cost code and equipment make/model.

The Customer Profitability - Revenue dashboard provides a comprehensive view of customer financial performance across invoicing, job revenue, site revenue, profitability, chargeable job spend, and revenue versus cost analysis.
Users can use the available filters and visualisations to identify high- and low-performing customers, compare revenue across different periods, review costs and markup, and analyse profitability by customer, site, equipment, and cost code.
