Enhancements (8)

Engineers can transfer van stock to each other on mobile

Engineers can now request stock parts directly from another engineer's van and receive them into their own stock through the mobile app, so a job can be completed without waiting for a warehouse top-up. Available from the main menu and from Book Parts inside a job, an engineer searches for a part, picks a colleague who has it, and requests a quantity; the other engineer accepts and dispatches from their chosen bins, and the parts are held as goods in transit until the requesting engineer confirms receipt into their own van. Every movement stays fully auditable and serial numbers follow the part throughout.

Site Location Display for Equipment Jobs

Implemented Site Location display for equipment jobs in the app, showing the configured equipment site location on the Job Card and Multi-Task Selection screen, including support for both single-task and multi-task jobs.

Contract cover shown when raising a job on mobile

When raising a new job on the mobile app, engineers can now see at a glance whether the selected equipment is covered by a contract — including the contract number, status and key dates — before submitting the job. Where equipment sits on more than one contract, they can open a read-only view of each.

Optimized task completion and new task creation flow Improved equipment loading performance for sites Enhanced responsiveness across job workflows (Site, Repair, New Equipment)

Performance improvements have been implemented in the Job & Task Management module. Task completion and creation flows are now smoother, with faster loading of site equipment. Core job operations, including Site Job, Repair Job, and New Equipment Job, have been validated and are functioning efficiently without delays.

Equipment barcode now shown on the task selection screen

When engineers scanned an equipment barcode containing several special characters on the Where Next task selection screen, the app returned “No Records” even though the same barcode worked on the Job Card screen and through manual search. Scanning now recognises these barcodes consistently across all screens.

Engineers can now add whole kits on mobile, not just individual parts

When adding stock to a task on mobile, engineers could only choose individual parts, so a service kit had to be built up one part at a time. Kits now appear in the same list as individual parts on the Book Parts and Part Request screens, each marked with a "Kit" label, and a quantity stepper lets engineers add one or more kits alongside any loose parts in a single action.

The Van and Branch toggle filters kits by stock source just as it does for parts, and if no stock is available an engineer can still raise a part request. Kits that contain a serialised part are not shown, with a short on-screen note explaining why, so engineers understand why an expected kit is missing.

Enhanced App Version Display in Device Management

Enhanced the App Version column in Engineers → Device Management to display platform-specific information, including Android/iOS OS version and device model for mobile devices, while continuing to display only the application version for Windows devices.

Fixes (11)

Delete and Delete & Raise New Task restored in the mobile app

The option to delete a task, or delete it and raise a new one, was missing from the mobile app. Engineers can now delete a task and raise a new one again where the setting is enabled.

Consistent Site Selection for Raise Quote

Standardized the Site selection behaviour in Raise Quote so that both the Menu and Working on Job flows display only the sites associated with the selected Customer Account, with the site list updating automatically when the customer account is changed.

Priority Filter Duplicate Value Fix in Job Enquiry

An issue has been resolved in Job Enquiry where the Breakdown priority appeared multiple times after applying Service Job or Repair Job filters, ensuring the priority list displays unique values consistently.

Perpetual Inventory Quantity Validation

Implemented quantity validation in Perpetual Inventory to prevent saving zero or negative quantities, ensuring only valid positive quantity values can be submitted.

Engineers now logged out automatically after the set inactivity period

When automatic log-off after a timeout was switched on, engineers were not being logged out after the chosen period and could stay signed in long past it, with the log-off only registering the next time they opened the app. This left their activity showing as still running and skewed utilisation reporting. The app now applies the timeout correctly, so an inactive session ends after the set period and the login and log-out are recorded accurately in engineer activity.

Multi-Task Job Header Activity Update

Updated the multi-task job header to correctly display the active task activity, ensuring Travelling to Job and Working on Job are shown when switching between tasks within the same multi-task job.

Job List Header Refresh After Task Deletion

Updated the job list header to correctly refresh after deleting a task and selecting Work on Another Job from the Next Activity screen, ensuring the displayed activity reflects the current state.
