Set Up Send-From Email Accounts

When sending an email for various areas with Service Geeni, you can set up who the email appears to be sent from. This does not have to be a real email address; however, consideration should be taken into account for people who will or want to reply to the email.

You may choose to set up a NOREPLY@ email address - speak to your IT support for additional help in this area.


For Default communication templates

  • Navigate to the template.

  • Check the box email.

  • Click on the ellipse to choose email.

  • Select or add an Email address.

  • Click Add, and enter the email address, make sure you have the correct format (co.uk .com etc.).

Settings

This section lets you choose who the email should be emailed/sent from, select an Email Template and what format the exported data will be in; this will be sent as an email attachment.

  • Email From: Here, you can choose which address to send the email from.

    • Click the ellipsis and select one from the available options. You can also create a new one via the Add button.


Bounce Back Email

In System Defaults, you can set a Bounce Back Email ID.

Should an email address be incorrect, this will send the bounced email back to an email address the bounce back email.
