Set Up Send-From Email Accounts

When sending an email for various areas with Service Geeni you can setup who the email appears to be sent from. This does not have to be a real email address however consideration should be taken into account for people who will or want to reply back to the email, you may choose to setup a NOREPLY@ email address - speak to your IT support for additional help in this area. You maybe be using shared mailboxes or and a distrubtion list

For Default communication templates

  • Navigate to the template.

  • Check the box email

  • Click on the ellipse to choose email

  • Select or add an Email address.

Click on +Add, enter email address make sure you have the correct format .co.uk .com etc

Settings

This section lets you choose who the email should be emailed/sent from, select an Email Template and what format the exported data will be in; this will be sent as an email attachment.

  • Email From: Here, you can choose which address to send the email from.

    • Click the ellipsis and select one from the available options. You can also create a new one via the Add button.

Your system may have default settings configured. If not, refer to the guide on How to Set Up Send-From Accounts (see link). @JO can't find the article.


Bounce Back Email

In System Defaults you can set a Bounce Back Email ID.

Should an email address be incorrect this will send the bounced email back to an email address the bounce back email.
