SSR: Field Unavailable

There may be instances where you cannot see or use a field from another table, as it is greyed out.

Why is this happening?

Not all tables are linked, so if you are using a field from a table, it may be that there is no intrinsic link to one you need, however, it may be that you need to use a different table to get the same information.

A good example is the Engineer Holidays and Job Timings tables, instead of using Job Timings, which is not available if using Engineer Holidays, you can use Engineer Timings, which uses the same data but in a different table and therefore the links between the two.

Using the search function will help you quickly locate the field you need, eliminating the need to navigate through each table to find the correct data field. However, this depends on your knowledge of the field's name, or at least part of it. For example, you can search for "Purchase" or "PO," but the field might be labeled as "Order" or "Sales."

Data Fields and How They are Named

It's important to note that field names can differ from what you might expect them to be.

For example: Customer Name & Customer Number is called Account Name & Account Number on the Jobs, Customer Account and other tables.

Should you have a problem seeing or finding the correct information:

Contact your Onboarding Consultant.

Or internal support manager or help@servicegeeni.com | 03300880820.

Generally, a field is available under the table of the same name as the module within Service Geeni, it can, however also be under other tables that are also linked.
