The Suspended Hire Contracts report provides visibility of all hire contracts that are currently in a Suspended status during a selected period.
This report enables the hire, finance, and operations teams to:
Identify which hire contracts are suspended and for how long.
Monitor the financial and operational impact of contract suspensions.
Review suspended contracts by branch and customer.
Support billing reviews, contract management, and operational planning.
This report is particularly useful for understanding downtime, managing customer agreements, and ensuring accurate invoicing during suspension periods.
Getting There
To access the Suspended Hire Contracts Report in Service Geeni:
Open the Business Intelligence module.
Select the KPI Viewer sub-module.
Locate the Suspended Hire Contracts report.
Click the report module to generate the report.
Alternatively:
Click the gear icon in the lower-right corner of the report module.
Configure the required filters.
Click the report module to generate the report.
Available Filters and Their Impact
Use the filters at the top of the report to control which suspended hire contracts are displayed.
Period: Filters the report by the suspension dates of hire contracts. Contracts are included if their suspension period overlaps with the selected date range, either partially or fully. Use this filter to analyse suspensions within a specific billing period or review long-running suspensions over time.
Branch: Filters the report by the selected branch where the hire contract is located. This filter uses the branch selected in the main Service Geeni interface. Use this filter to review suspended contracts at the branch level or across multiple branches for management oversight.
Column Breakdown and Key Fields
Each row in the report represents a hire contract that has been suspended during the selected period.
Column Name | Description |
Contract No | Unique, auto-generated number identifying the hire contract. |
Customer No. | Unique identifier for the customer account associated with the hire contract. |
Customer Name | Customer account name linked to the contract. |
Start Date | Date the hire contract originally started. |
Expiry Date | Expected or agreed end date of the hire contract. |
Hire Option | Hire option selected for the contract. |
Equipment Count | Total number of equipment items associated with the hire contract. |
Invoice Value | Total amount invoiced, or due to be invoiced, for the hire contract. |
Invoice Frequency | Frequency of invoicing, such as Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, Four Monthly, Half Yearly, or Annually. |
Suspended From | Start date of the contract suspension period. |
Suspended To | End date of the contract suspension period. |
No Days Suspended | Total number of days the contract has been suspended during the reporting period. |
Tip: Sort by No Days Suspended to quickly identify contracts with extended suspension periods that may require review or follow-up.
