Enhancements (5):

Work done notes now show which engineer wrote them

Work done notes on jobs now clearly show the name of the engineer who added each note.

Improved Job List Filter Consistency for Repair Jobs

Enhanced the Job List filtering behavior to ensure that when the Repair filter is selected, only Repair jobs are displayed — even after working on a job and returning to the Job List. This update ensures consistent filter application and a smoother user experience.

Emergency Job Creation Added from Equipment Panel (Barcode Scan)

A new button has been added to the Equipment Info panel (after barcode scan from job list) to quickly raise an Emergency Job for the selected equipment.

Enhanced Barcode Scanner Performance in Low-Light Conditions

Improved the barcode scanner functionality to ensure reliable performance in poor lighting conditions. Users can now experience smoother and more accurate barcode scanning even in low-light environments, enhancing overall efficiency and usability.

Fixes (16):

Connection status refresh for mobile devices now works reliably

Using the “Connection status refresh” option on Engineer > Mobile Devices could fail and not update the device’s status for some customers. This has been fixed so the refresh now runs correctly and shows the up‑to‑date connection status for each mobile device.

Root Cause Field No Longer Auto-Populates Between Equipment Tasks

When working on jobs with multiple tasks, the Root Cause chosen on one task could automatically appear on the next task on the same job, even if it was different equipment. This has been fixed so each task starts with a blank Root Cause, and you choose the correct value for that specific task only.

Using the “Connection status refresh” option on Engineer > Mobile Devices could fail and not update the device’s status for some customers. This has been fixed so the refresh now runs correctly and shows the up‑to‑date connection status for each mobile device.

Improved Keyword Search in Job Filters

Keyword search has been enhanced on the Filter page for both Android and iPhone, making it faster and easier to find the right jobs. Users can now enter a keyword, tap the search icon, and see results immediately. The keyboard also closes seamlessly after searching, providing a smoother and more efficient mobile experience.

Keyword search supports common job identifiers and equipment details, including:
Job Number, Equipment ID, Site ID, Customer Name, Postcode, Equipment Make, Model, and Type.

Improved UI Display for Job & Task Details on iPhone

Enhanced the user interface on iPhone devices to ensure the Job Number, Task Number, and Cancel icon are displayed correctly while viewing the Equipment QR Code screen. This update resolves previous truncation issues and provides a clearer, more seamless user experience.

Decimal Value Support Added for Misc Item Price on iOS

On the iOS app, misc item prices had to be whole numbers, which meant values like £2.80 would be rounded to £3. This has been improved so you can now enter misc item prices with decimal values on iOS, giving accurate pricing on jobs.

Enhanced Visibility of Connection Status on iPhone Devices

The connection status indicator is now displayed on iPhone devices. Users can view the connection status dot on both the Job List and Job Details pages, improving real-time visibility and overall user experience.

Improved Back Button Behavior and Disabled UI Styling on Task Completion Screens

The header, back button, and menu are now correctly greyed out on Complete Task and Signature pages. The Android hardware back button now behaves the same as the in-page “← Back” button.

Fix for Serial Part Acceptance Without Quantity

Engineers could run into problems when accepting parts with serial numbers on the mobile app, especially when there were multiple serials to collect, so the parts were not always accepted as expected. We’ve fixed this so serialised parts can now be accepted smoothly, and all selected serial numbers are recorded correctly on the job.

Enhanced Scrolling Experience for Miscellaneous Item Stock List

Improved the scrolling behavior of the Miscellaneous Item stock list during the booking process. The list now scrolls smoothly without unexpected movement, ensuring a more stable and seamless user experience.

Job Request now finds valid jobs assigned to other engineers

When the user went to Menu → More Options → Job Request, chose the All Tasks filter and entered a valid job number that was assigned to another engineer, the system showed a “Job not found” error and the request was not sent. This has been fixed so valid jobs are now found correctly and the Job Request is sent successfully, even when the job is assigned to a different engineer.

Bay keyword filter in PPD Dispatch now works correctly

The Keyword filter on the Bay screen in Menu → PPD → Dispatch did not work properly. Even when a valid Bay value was entered, the list did not filter and it was difficult to find the correct dispatch records. This has been fixed so the Bay keyword filter now correctly narrows the list to matching dispatch records, making it quicker for the user to locate the required items.

FGAS Refill Cylinder now loads suppliers faster and blocks negative amounts

Going to Menu → FGAS → Refill Cylinder and tapping Select Supplier could show a blank white screen for a moment and then load the supplier list slowly. Also, the Amount field under Refill/Decant allowed you to enter negative values, which should not be possible. We’ve fixed this so the supplier list opens promptly without a white screen, and the Amount field now blocks negative values with proper validation.

Improved Message Synchronization Between Mobile and Web

Enhanced message synchronization to ensure messages sent from mobile to web remain visible even after closing and reopening the Messages page. This update provides a seamless and consistent messaging experience across both platforms.

Stock list now refreshes correctly after registration

The stock list refresh could fail after registering the device, sometimes showing a “stock list files failed” message, and even when no error showed the stock was not always updated correctly. We’ve fixed this so the stock list now refreshes cleanly after registration and during manual refresh, and stock updates are reflected properly across the app.

Android scanner now closes correctly with the device back button

On Android, if user opened any scanner screen, pressing the device back (“←”) button did nothing and the scanner stayed open, so you had to use the Dismiss button instead. We’ve fixed this so the Android back button now works the same as Dismiss and closes the scanner screen as expected.

iOS barcode scanner now opens correctly first time

Previously on iOS, opening the barcode scanner for the first time could show a black screen and the camera would not start until you manually toggled the flash. We’ve fixed this so the scanner now opens with the camera active straight away, without needing to change the flash settings.
