Notes Field Now Available in Sales Order Quote Document Dictionary

The Sales Order Quote document dictionary has been extended to include a dedicated Notes field. Document templates for sales order quotes can now reference this field so that any notes entered on the quote are available for inclusion in quote layouts.

Engineer Name Added to SSR Engineer Activity Data

The Engineer Activity SSR has been enhanced so that the engineer’s name is now available as a dedicated field in the data table.

Customer Name Added to Sales Nominal Update and History Views, Including Export

The Sales Nominal functionality has been enhanced so that customer name is now included throughout:

Sales Nominal Update view now shows the customer name alongside the existing nominal and transaction details.

History of Sales Nominal Transactions includes customer name on screen for each transaction row.

Exports from both areas now contain a customer name column so that exported data can be filtered, grouped and analysed by customer directly in external tools.

Order Reference and Invoice Date Made Optional on Quote Creation

Previously, the “Order Ref” and “Invoice Date” fields were treated as mandatory when creating a new quote. This forced users to supply information that was often not yet available at the quoting stage, resulting in workarounds and delays when trying to save in‑progress quotes. The quote creation process has been updated so that:

  • “Order Ref” and “Invoice Date” are now optional fields when creating a quote.

  • Quotes can be saved and submitted without values in these fields.

  • No validation errors are shown if these fields are left blank at creation time.

SSR Reports from Other Users Can Now Be Added to the Home Page

Previously, only SSR reports owned by the current user could be pinned to the home page, limiting quick access to useful reports created by colleagues.
Home page configuration has been extended so that SSR reports created by other users can also be added, making it easier to surface and share important reports across the team.

Improved Equipment Deal Search Filters with Scroll and Clear Options

The Equipment Deal search panel did not provide an optimal filter layout, lacked a scroll option, and did not fully clear all filter elements in some cases when “Clear All” was used.
The search experience has been enhanced with an improved filter layout, proper scrolling support, and a corrected “Clear All” function so that filters, including icons, are reset cleanly.

Configurable Job Lock Duration for More Flexible Control

The duration for job locks was previously controlled by a hardcoded time value, making it difficult to adjust how long jobs should remain locked. This has been updated so that the job lock duration is now read from configuration, giving administrators more flexible control over how long jobs stay locked before they are released.

Fixes (20):

Stock Transfers Now Correctly Reflect in Destination Depots

A stock transfer between depots did not appear in the destination depot’s stock records, even though the transfer had been recorded. The stock transfer process has been corrected so that transferred items are reliably reflected in the receiving depot’s stock records.

Fixed Price Hire Charges Now Remain Stable When Dates Change

For certain hire contracts, adjusting the hire dates also changed the fixed price amount, rather than preserving the fixed price that had been entered. The calculation has been updated so that fixed price charges remain consistent when dates are adjusted, ensuring that the agreed fixed amount does not change unexpectedly.

Part Requests No Longer Block Job Submission After Cancellation

In specific situations, cancelling a reservation on a part request left the part request in an inconsistent state, causing the system to treat the job as having an outstanding part request and blocking submission. The link between part requests and job submission has been corrected so that once relevant part requests are resolved or cancelled, jobs can be submitted without being blocked in error.

Job Status and Assignment Now Remain Consistent After Ownership Changes

In some scenarios, jobs that were created as issued with an engineer assigned became unissued when an engineer took ownership, leading to unexpected job statuses. Job status handling has been updated so that changing ownership no longer causes jobs to revert to an unissued state, keeping job status and engineer assignment consistent.

Clearer Validation When Adding Nominals to Charge Codes

When adding nominals to a charge codes, an error message instructed that highlighted fields must be completed, but no fields were visually highlighted, causing confusion. Validation has been improved so that any missing information is clearly indicated, and the message now corresponds to visible, highlighted fields that require attention.

Obscured Site List Overlay Removed from Site Selection

An empty white box sometimes appeared over the list of sites, obscuring the site selection and making it difficult to see or choose the correct record. The display issue has been resolved so that the site list is fully visible and no longer covered by an unnecessary overlay.

Quotation Number Field Restored on Edit Equipment Deal Quotation Screen

On the edit Equipment Deal quotation screen, the Quotation Number field was missing, making it harder to confirm or reference the quotation in use. The field has been restored so that the Quotation Number is now visible when editing Equipment Deal quotations, keeping key identifying information readily available.

Generate Equipment ID Button No Longer Triggered by Unrelated Fields

When entering details on a new equipment record, pressing Enter in certain fields unintentionally triggered the “Generate Equipment ID” button and changed the equipment ID. Form behaviour has been updated so that pressing Enter in other fields no longer activates the generate ID button, preventing unintentional changes to the equipment ID.

Job Lock Timing Corrected for Invoiced Jobs

In some cases, a job lock was applied to a job after it had already been invoiced, preventing expected updates and creating uncertainty around the job’s status. The timing and conditions under which job locks are applied have been corrected so that invoiced jobs are no longer locked inappropriately after invoicing.

Equipment Deal Jobs Now Show Only Relevant Site IDs

When raising a job from an Equipment Deal for the second time, the site selection list showed all site IDs instead of only the customer sites related to that Equipment Deal. The job‑raising process has been corrected so that the site list now shows only the relevant customer sites for the Equipment Deal, reducing the risk of selecting an incorrect site.

Bulk Unissue Option Added for Issued Jobs

Jobs could be issued in bulk but there was no equivalent option to unissue multiple jobs at once, requiring each job to be unissued individually. A bulk unissue function has been introduced so that issued jobs can now be unissued in bulk where required, reducing manual effort when reversing bulk job issuance.

Service Call Error Resolved When Managing Second Equipment on a Job

An error occurred in the service call logic when a second piece of equipment was added to a job and then removed again, interrupting normal job maintenance. The service call handling has been corrected so that adding and removing additional equipment on a job no longer produces errors and the job can be updated as expected.

Exports Now Include Invoice and Order Numbers

Exports from jobs, item history, and service history were missing invoice and order numbers, even though dedicated columns were present in the exported file. The export process has been updated so that invoice numbers and order numbers now populate correctly in the corresponding columns.

Equipment History Now Shows Correct Engineer Information

In the equipment history view, some jobs were incorrectly showing the engineer as “Multiple” even when only a single engineer was assigned. The engineer details in equipment history have been corrected so that the view now accurately reflects whether a single engineer or multiple engineers were involved.

Filter Permissions Now Respected for Saving Shared Filters

The filter permission setting in user access groups did not prevent certain users from saving and viewing filters shared across all users, even when the option was disabled. This behaviour has been updated so that the filter permission now works as intended, restricting access to saving and loading shared filters based on the configured setting.

Split Tasks Now Works with Equipment Tests Using Special Characters

Jobs containing equipment tests of type CustomForm with names including special characters (such as “:” or “,”) could not be split after a job sheet was uploaded manually. Task splitting has been corrected so that jobs with equipment tests that include special characters in the name can now be split as expected, and any error messages no longer block the split process.

Sales and Service Activity Report Now Handles Multiple Invoices per Order Correctly

The Sales and Service Activity report previously duplicated order-level values when a single sales order was invoiced multiple times, leading to overstated totals. The report has been updated to group by sales order and aggregate invoice numbers into a single list, so order values are now shown once per order even when multiple invoices exist.

Equipment Model Root Cause Now Expands to Show Sub Root Causes

The expand icon on the Equipment Model root cause list did not display sub root causes as expected, limiting visibility of detailed classifications. The expand behaviour has been corrected so that selecting the expand icon now reliably reveals all configured sub root causes for each model.

Quotation Number Now Shown on Hire Agreement Documents

Previously, the “Quotation Number” linked to a hire agreement was not appearing on the hire agreement document, even though the quotation date was shown. This has been corrected so that the associated quotation number now appears consistently wherever expected on the hire agreement documentation.

TVH e‑Shop Offers Now Display Correctly in Purchase Order Screen

Offers created in the TVH e‑shop (shown as enquiries via the TVH API) were not appearing in the TVH enquiries popup and purchase order screen, even though the API returned them correctly. The TVH integration has been corrected so that valid enquiries are now recognised and displayed, ensuring that TVH offers raised in the e‑shop show as expected in the purchase order workflow.
