Enhancements (4):

Banner showing new version of the app

A banner has been introduced within the mobile app to indicate when a new app version is available. This makes it clearer that a newer release exists, supporting smoother roll‑out of updates and helping ensure more devices are kept on current, supported versions.

Improved job filter

Job filtering on the mobile app has been enhanced to make it easier to find the right jobs when large numbers are assigned. Filter options have been refined and the behaviour of job lists has been improved so that filtering by status, dates and other criteria is more intuitive and responds more reliably.

Job Enquiry improvements

The job enquiry experience for engineers has been improved on mobile. The layout and behaviour of the results list and filters have been refined so that key information is easier to see and engineers can more quickly locate the right jobs when reviewing their workload.

Block raising service jobs

A new control has been added to prevent service jobs being raised in scenarios where they are not appropriate or permitted by configuration. The mobile app now checks the relevant rules before allowing a new service job to be created, helping to avoid incorrect job creation and keeping mobile activity aligned with site‑level processes.

Fixes (9):

iOS: “Complete and Add New Task” flow issues

On iOS, choosing “Complete and Add New Task” caused the app to show the Travel and Start Task buttons again, and the new task popup appeared without key job details. The completion flow has been corrected so that the new task popup opens with full job information and the task buttons behave as expected.

iOS: Site jobs appearing when filtering by Service job type

On iOS, filtering jobs by Service job type could still return site jobs in the results. The filtering logic has been fixed so that only jobs matching the selected job type are shown.

Engineers having to re‑register devices daily

Some engineers were being forced to re‑register their devices on an almost daily basis, disrupting normal use of the mobile app. The underlying registration and token‑handling logic has been corrected so that valid registrations are preserved and devices remain registered as expected.

Form performance very slow

Some forms on mobile were taking an unacceptably long time to open and respond, especially on larger jobs. Form handling has been optimised so that screens load more quickly and interaction is smoother during form completion.

Job summary/signature flow skipped when config is off

When the PDAJobSummaryOnJobCompleteSetting configuration was set to Off, the app skipped the job summary and signature flow entirely, which meant completion data was not captured in completion messages. The completion behaviour has been corrected so that required completion information is still captured appropriately, even when this configuration is disabled.

Enquiries and Samsung One UI

On devices running Samsung One UI, the enquiries screen did not behave as expected, with layout and interaction issues that were specific to this environment. Compatibility with Samsung One UI has been improved so that enquiries now display and respond correctly on these devices.

Missing clear option on filter search field

In the mobile filter screen, the search field did not provide an easy way to clear the current search text. A clear option has been added so that search terms can be removed quickly, making it easier to adjust or reset filters.

Spacing issue in “Agreed Visit Date” sort icon on tablet

On tablets, the sort icon in the “Agreed Visit Date” filter displayed with incorrect spacing, making the control appear misaligned. The spacing and alignment for this icon have been adjusted so that the filter header now displays consistently.

Android 10 keyboard white space

On some Android 10 devices, opening the keyboard in the mobile app left an extra white space on screen, causing visual layout issues. Screen handling around the keyboard has been corrected so that the page content resizes cleanly and the additional white space no longer appears.
