Find out how to renew a contract!

The Contract Renew / Review module gives you a snapshot view of any contracts you have in the system. As it says, you can also renew a contract coming to an end.

Enable the following User Rights to get the most out of the module:

  • Module Access: Contract Renew / Review

  • The Contract Global Uplift access right in Service Geeni allows users to apply global price adjustments to existing service contracts.

  • The Contracts access right in Service Geeni allows users to create and manage service and hire contracts linked to customer accounts.

    • Can Approve Equipment Requests From Other Branches

    • Can Create Long Term Hire Contracts

    • Can Create Service Contracts

    • Can Create Short Term Hire Contracts

    • Show Contract Revenue And Cost


Getting There

To get there:

  • Head to the Records Menu.

  • Click Contract Renew / Review.


Renew and Review

Now that you are in the Renew/Review section, you can review any contracts that are due for renewal. To speed things up, you can search for a contract by keyword or using the filter button.

  • You have the Requote Contract, Review Contract or Renew Contract icon from the Action Tray.

  • Requote Contract: This option takes you to the Quotations module, where you can edit and raise a new quote for the contract.

  • Review Contract: View and edit the contract's details here.

  • At the bottom of the window, you can mark if the contract:

    • Has been Reviewed but Not Signed Off.

    • Has been Reviewed.

    • Or Terminate the contract.

  • Renew Contract:

  • Click the Renew icon to open the contract. Here you can check or edit details before renewing the contract.

  • Click Renew, and the Contract Preview page will open.

  • Read through all the details and once you are happy, click Confirm.

You have successfully renewed a contract!
