The following fixes and improvements were included in version Mobile_7.0.41 (Mobile), released on 9 September 2026.
Enhancements (4)
Engineers can choose a part delivery destination on mobile
Engineers raising a part request on the mobile app can now choose where the parts should be delivered, selecting either the engineer's home address or the job's site address. The chosen destination is passed through for onward integration, so parts are sent to the right place. This option is turned off by default , please speak to your Customer Success Manager for further assistance.
Equipment passed and failed counts now shown on mobile jobs
Jobs on the mobile app now display separate passed and failed counts for equipment testing, alongside the total number of items tested. Engineers can see equipment test outcomes at a glance without opening each item, making it quicker to confirm where any remedial work is needed.
Branch and engineer carried through from mobile part transfers
When an engineer creates a branch-to-engineer part transfer on the mobile app, the selected branch and engineer are now sent with the part request so the From and To locations are set automatically. This removes the need to re-select the source and destination when the transfer is processed on the web.
Mobile now prompts for mileage when changing activity.
The mobile app can now prompt engineers to enter their mileage whenever they finish a travelling activity and switch to another. The reading is captured at the point of changing activity and sent straight back to the system, giving you accurate vehicle mileage to track, report on and bill without relying on engineers to note it down separately. The prompt is controlled by a setting and is off by default, so you can switch it on when you are ready to use it.
This is an opt-in feature. Please speak to your Customer Success Manager for further assistance.
Fixes (8)
Initial Charge now enforced when adding F-Gas cylinders
On the mobile app, a new F-Gas cylinder could be added even when the mandatory Initial Charge field was left blank, with no warning shown. The Initial Charge field is now properly enforced, displaying a validation message and preventing the cylinder from being saved until a value has been entered.
Job notes keep their line breaks on mobile
Job notes entered on the web app with line breaks were shown as one large block of text on the mobile app, making them hard to read. Line breaks are now preserved on mobile, so notes appear just as they were written and important details are easier to pick out.
Android status bar restored in the mobile app
On some Android devices (version 12 and earlier), the status bar showing battery, signal and Wi-Fi was hidden while using the mobile app. The status bar is now visible again, so you can keep an eye on your device status while you work.
Service tasks now show only their own equipment's forms
On the mobile app, a service task could display forms for every piece of equipment on the whole job rather than just the equipment for that task, so engineers saw more forms than expected. Each task now shows only the forms linked to its own equipment type, making it much quicker for engineers to complete the right paperwork.
Improved Site Address Postcode Display
Updated the Mobile App Site Address display to ensure the postcode is shown only once under Customer Details, providing a clear and correctly formatted site address
Single confirmation prompt when raising a service task to equipment
When raising a service task against equipment in the mobile app, the "Are you sure?" confirmation appeared twice, so engineers had to respond to the same prompt two times. The confirmation now appears only once.
Newly issued jobs now appear automatically on mobile devices
A few engineers reported that jobs issued to their device did not appear until they manually refreshed their data files, a delay that did not happen on the legacy app. This was caused by a fault in how the app handled certain background updates, which has been resolved so that newly issued jobs now appear on the device automatically.
Clearer message when a part request delivery address is missing
When raising a part request against a job that had no delivery address set up, the mobile app previously showed a confusing message and left engineers unable to continue, with no explanation of what to do. Engineers now see a clear, user-friendly message that explains a delivery address is needed and what action is required to proceed.
