We released a small update to the Service Geeni mobile app with the following fixes and improvements.
Improved Complete Job and Next Activity flow
Improved the Complete Job and Next Activity workflow by ensuring the correct reference is maintained between job completion and activity selection.
French language UI text corrections
Updated the mobile app French localisation by correcting UI text and wording to improve translation accuracy and provide a more consistent French user experience.
Reference number now visible in Book Parts
The reference number is now clearly displayed while adding and booking Kit Parts and Stock Parts. This improves traceability and user confidence during part selection and booking.
Improved handling of long kit names and descriptions
Kits now book smoothly and successfully even when the kit name and description reach the maximum allowed length, improving reliability and preventing failures during high-length data entry.
Improved Part Request filter persistence
The Part Request Keyword and Date Range filters are now applied consistently after you navigate to the Add screen and return, preventing stale filter data and ensuring the list refreshes correctly.
Clearer offline messages for Parts Transfer
Replaced raw error messages with clear, user-friendly offline notifications for Parts Transfer actions, providing a consistent message when the device has no internet connection.
Parts Transfer success confirmation wording
Updated the success confirmation pop-up in the Parts Transfer workflow to use consistent grammar, capitalisation and wording.
Stock Transfer notifications now open the right screen
On the Notifications screen, stock transfer notifications are now clickable and open the Part Transfer screen, while other notifications remain visible but are not clickable.
Stock Transfer access for legacy WMB login
Access to the Stock Transfer feature is now restricted for users signing in with the legacy WMB login. Users who are not registered via Shortcode or QR Code see a clear message and are returned to the previous screen, while Shortcode and QR Code registered users continue to use the feature as normal.
