Let's dive in!

Once work has been completed, the final step is to submit and invoice the job.

There are multiple ways to access the job submission process, but following a consistent workflow helps avoid unnecessary duplicate work and ensures any final changes are made before the invoice is created.

The Flow:

Getting There

  • Head to Job Control via the Scheduling menu.

Submit a Job

Instead of using Job Submit directly:

  • Open the completed job.

  • Click Edit.

  • Make any final changes or corrections.

  • Complete the Job Submit process.

  • Submit for invoicing.

Using Edit first allows you to review and update the job before submission.

Opening the Job Submit screen directly can require you to repeat work if changes are needed.

Following this process helps you:

  • Review the job before it is submitted.

  • Make any final amendments without reopening the job.

  • Avoid duplicating effort during submission.

  • Produce the invoice from the final, approved version of the job.

Bulk Invoice

If the jobs have already been checked and validated and you're trying to invoice multiple jobs, use Generate Invoice to bulk invoice.

  • Head to Finance.

  • Select Job Invoice.

  • Select the jobs.

  • Click Generate Invoice.

You will be notified that the request is raised, and any updates will show in the notifications section.
