Enhancements (1):

Enhanced Document Preview in Mobile and Web

Document upload preview is now available across both mobile and web platforms, including improved preview visibility within quotes. Users can now view uploaded document previews seamlessly on both mobile and web. Additionally, document previews within quotes have been improved to ensure accurate and consistent display, enhancing overall usability and verification.

Fixes (23):

Enhanced Search and Data Display in Equipment Enquiry

Multiple improvements have been made to search behavior and data visibility within the Equipment Enquiry module.
Search-related issues in Equipment Enquiry have been resolved to provide a smoother and more reliable user experience. A Clear option is now available when searching with unmatched data, allowing users to quickly reset their search. After clearing the search, data is properly reloaded and no longer appears blank in the Hire Contract and Jobs tabs.
Additionally, when an equipment is selected, the Issued filter is now applied by default in the Jobs tab for better usability. The PM Contract tab has also been improved to display the contract number correctly. These enhancements ensure better data visibility and more intuitive navigation across the module.

Engineer grid not updating on shared jobs until manual refresh

When a job was shared between two engineers using different devices, the “Engineer” grid on the mobile app did not always show everyone actually working on the job. This happened because the shared job updates were not always being pushed through to the engineer grid view in real time when more than one device was involved. We’ve updated how the app refreshes this information so that the engineer grid now reflects all engineers on the shared job without needing a manual refresh, keeping the team list accurate across devices.

Mobile stock not updated after manual stock receipt without bin

When a manual stock receipt was created and approved without choosing a bin location, the extra stock showed correctly on the web but did not appear on the mobile app when engineers tried to book parts to a job from their van. This happened because receipts without a bin were not being included properly in the data the mobile app uses to show available stock. We’ve updated the process so that manual receipts are now handled consistently even if a bin isn’t selected, meaning the mobile app will show the correct stock levels for van parts after approval.

Equipment job history now opens with the default filter selected.

When viewing job history from equipment details, the default filter was not selected because the filter state was not being initialised correctly on entry. This has been fixed so the default view is applied automatically.

Instant Deletion of Images and Signatures in Forms (iPhone)

After deleting an uploaded photo or signature, it could remain visible until another change was made because the screen was not refreshing the display immediately after deletion. This has been fixed so deleted items are removed from view straight away.

Accept Parts punctuation now displays correctly

A formatting issue caused punctuation/labels to break onto the next line in the Accept Parts screen because the text layout was not rendering consistently. This has been fixed so the text displays cleanly on the same line.

Part Request / Add Stock Parts layout no longer overlaps or misaligns

When raising a part request and adding stock parts, screen elements could overlap or misalign because the layout did not adapt correctly to the page content. This has been fixed so the screen remains aligned and readable while adding parts.

Equipment Type no longer displays twice in equipment details

Equipment Type could appear twice because the details layout was rendering the same field in two places. This has been fixed so Equipment Type is shown only once.

Improved Search Experience in Equipment Enquiry

When an unmatched search returned “No Records Found”, there was no clear option and the search text could persist after navigating back because the search field state was not being reset. This has been improved so searches can be cleared easily and previous text does not persist unexpectedly.

Part Request now shows a success confirmation after submission

After raising a part request, no confirmation was shown, which could lead to uncertainty and duplicate submissions because the action completed without immediate feedback. This has been fixed so a clear success message is displayed when the request is raised.

Pagination display and usability have been enhanced across enquiry pages.

Pagination has been improved across key enquiry modules, including Job Enquiry, Tool Enquiry, Equipment Records, Day Summary, and Time Sheet Enquiry. This ensures smoother navigation and a more consistent user experience across enquiry screens.

Photo & Document “Add” screen no longer shows unnecessary blank space

The Add Photo/Document screen could show a large blank area because the layout was not sizing correctly for the page content. This has been fixed so the screen aligns properly without unused space.

Job Enquiry filters and tab switching now return correct results

Job Enquiry searches could return incorrect results when combining search filters with Service/Repair type, and switching tabs could show stale data because the list was not refreshing consistently across filter and tab changes. This has been fixed so filters apply correctly and each tab shows the right data.

Notifications panel no longer overlaps with menu/emergency actions

With the notifications panel open, the menu or emergency action could open underneath it, creating overlapping screens because both actions were allowed at the same time. This has been fixed so opening menu/emergency first closes notifications, preventing overlap.

Headers now remain correct after barcode scan and back navigation.

After scanning a barcode in Goods Receiving or Part Request and navigating back, the header could change to the wrong title because the previous screen title was not restored properly. This has been fixed so the correct header is shown after returning.

Task and job numbers no longer overlap screen elements

Task/job numbers could overlap with the top screen area on some devices because spacing did not account for the device’s screen layout. This has been corrected so the numbers display clearly without overlapping.

Part Request filters now apply correctly together

In Part Request, combining View, date range, and keyword search could show unfiltered results because filter state was not being applied consistently when multiple filters were used. This has been fixed so View/date/keyword filters work together correctly and clearing search restores the previously applied filter.

“Customer Not Available” now clears both name and signature

When Customer Not Available was selected during job completion, the signature could be cleared but the customer name could remain because the screen only reset part of the stored entry. This has been fixed so both the name and signature are cleared consistently.

Accept Parts Functionality for serial number enabled SKU Enhancement

Parts that had already been accepted could still be accepted again because the list did not reliably remove or block items that were already processed. This has been fixed so once a part is accepted it cannot be accepted again, preventing duplicate acceptance.

Consistent Job Removal from Job List After Completion

Improved job status handling ensures that once a job is completed, it is removed from the job list within 5 seconds, regardless of whether the action is performed in online mode or offline mode (and later synced). This enhancement provides a more consistent and real-time user experience across network conditions.

Improved Signature Box Usability on Job Completion Screen

The signature box did not allow signing across the full width (especially in landscape) because the signing area did not scale correctly to the available space. This has been fixed so the full signature area can be used and signatures are captured across the whole box.

Equipment photos added in the app can now be viewed correctly

A photo added to an equipment record could appear to upload but then not be viewable (often redirecting back to upload), because the app was sending the image information in a newer format that the receiving service did not recognise. This has been updated so the service accepts the image details correctly and the uploaded equipment photo can be viewed as expected.

Work Done Type selection no longer opens the wrong screen

Selecting the Work Done Type field could unexpectedly open the Root Cause screen and show duplicated/stacked selection panels because the tap was being handled by more than one screen element. This has been fixed so selecting Work Done Type opens only the correct list once, with no overlapping screens.

Edit Task Details now shows the correct charge code

In Edit Task Details, the charge code displayed could incorrectly show the job’s charge code instead of the task’s charge code because the screen was pulling the value from the wrong level. This has been fixed so the task charge code is shown and any edits apply to the task only.

Location icon on job list now opens the correct map view

In the Home → Job List, tapping the location icon on a job card was not doing anything; the app simply ignored the tap instead of opening the site location on the map. The behaviour has now been corrected so that tapping the location icon consistently opens the relevant map/location view for the job.
