The first step in any migration is extracting your existing data from your current system.

This is handled by your team, as you know your data best and can decide what information is relevant to bring across.

At this stage, the focus is on gathering the core operational data that underpins your day-to-day activities, such as:

During this session, your consultant will:

• Clarify what each field in the spreadsheets represents in the platform.

The goal is not for Service Geeni to cleanse or transform the data on your behalf, but to provide expert guidance so you can prepare a clean, well-structured dataset ready for import.

You will then populate the Service Geeni templates with your selected data.

These templates are pre-formatted to align with the platform’s supported data types and import rules.

You can run unlimited import cycles, meaning you can test, refine, and re-import as needed without risk.

Before go-live, Service Geeni performs a single data cleanse to remove onboarding-phase data for the in-scope data types.

This ensures your live system starts clean and ready for operational use.

From there, you will carry out the final import using your validated templates, confident that your data is technically sound and aligned with your Service Geeni setup.
