Mobile Update

A New version of the Mobile App has been released, release notes for this can be found here: Mobile Release Notes

Enhancements (1):

Support for Extended Equipment Hierarchies

Equipment records can now be structured with more than two hierarchical levels. This enhancement allows for greater flexibility and accuracy when managing complex equipment relationships.

Fixes (7):

Cost Price Not Carried Over from Quotation to Job Stock Issue

An issue was identified where the cost price of parts added through a part request on a job quotation was not carried over to the job stock issue, even though the list and selling prices matched. This has been resolved. Cost, list, and selling prices are now correctly pulled from the part request raised against the job quotation, ensuring accurate pricing throughout the workflow.

Labour and Travel Charges Not Appearing in Invoice Preview

An issue was identified where labour and travel charges were not appearing in the invoice preview when time was booked via the mobile app. Although the correct cost code and rate were set, the total charge was not being calculated. This has been resolved. Billable time now correctly applies the rate and duration, ensuring accurate labour and travel charges are reflected in the invoice preview.

Supplier Sync Issue Due to Fax Number Length

An issue was identified where supplier details from Sage were not syncing to Geeni due to fax numbers exceeding the character limit. The fax field in Geeni allows a maximum of 20 characters, which caused the sync to fail when longer values were sent. This has now been resolved by enforcing a 20-character limit on fax numbers during the sync process.

Incorrect Part Charges on Fixed Charge Quotations

An issue was identified where parts were being charged on fixed charge quotations, even when the associated cost code had the 'ChargeItems' option disabled. This has been resolved. Part charges are now correctly excluded in such cases, ensuring accurate totals on both the quotation page and the quotation report.

Incorrect Job Completion Time Displayed in Web App

An issue was identified where job completion times recorded via the mobile app were displayed an hour ahead in the web application. This occurred because the completion time was saved in local time instead of UTC. The system has been updated to ensure all times are now consistently recorded and displayed in UTC.

Discrepancy Between Task and Job Totals in Financials

An issue was identified where task totals and job totals could show discrepancies after submission in Financials. This occurred due to totals not being recalculated correctly after updates. The issue has been resolved, and totals now remain consistent across tasks and jobs.

Invoicing Issue with Revenue Profiles and Decimal Pricing

An issue was identified where service contract invoices could fail to process when using a revenue profile and including equipment with invoice prices containing four decimal places. This has now been resolved, and invoices are processed successfully under these conditions.
