What is 2FA?

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) adds an extra layer of security to your login.

After entering your username and password, you’ll need to authenticate through a second method, such as approving a sign-in request on your phone or entering a one-time code sent to your mobile device.

What is SSO?

Single Sign-On (SSO) allows you to log into Service Geeni without a separate SG password. Instead, you are redirected to your identity provider (such as Google or Microsoft) to complete the login.

Can I use both 2FA and SSO?

Yes.

  • If your SSO provider already enforces 2FA, then logging into Service Geeni with SSO will include their 2FA process automatically.

  • You can also enable both 2FA and SSO within Service Geeni, so that both security measures are active.
