What is 2FA?
Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) adds an extra layer of security to your login.
After entering your username and password, you’ll need to authenticate through a second method, such as approving a sign-in request on your phone or entering a one-time code sent to your mobile device.
What is SSO?
Single Sign-On (SSO) allows you to log into Service Geeni without a separate SG password. Instead, you are redirected to your identity provider (such as Google or Microsoft) to complete the login.
Can I use both 2FA and SSO?
Yes.
If your SSO provider already enforces 2FA, then logging into Service Geeni with SSO will include their 2FA process automatically.
You can also enable both 2FA and SSO within Service Geeni, so that both security measures are active.
