How to Access the Dashboard

  1. From the main navigation menu, select the Self Service module.

  2. Open the All Standard Dashboards folder.

  3. Locate Top 10 Spare Parts By Usage Volume.

  4. Click Preview to open the dashboard.

  5. Apply any desired filters. The dashboard will automatically refresh based on the filters selected.


Dashboard Filters & Descriptions

The dashboard includes filters that allow users to refine the data displayed and focus on specific locations or reporting periods.

Branch Name

  • Type: Drop-down selection

  • Description: Filters the dashboard to display spare parts usage information for a selected branch or operational location.

Date Range

  • Type: Date range selector

  • Default Value: Last 7 days

  • Description: Filters the report based on the Stock Issue Date. Only spare parts issued within the selected date range will be included in the analysis. Adjusting the date range updates both the chart and pivot table.


Column Chart – Top 10 Spare Parts by Usage Volume

The column chart displays the Top 10 SKUs based on the total quantity booked during the selected reporting period.

  • Calculates the total quantity booked for each SKU.

  • Displays the ten highest-ranking spare parts based on usage volume.

  • Sorted in descending order by the sum of Quantity Booked.

SKU

Unique Stock Keeping Unit identifier assigned to the spare part.

SKU Description

Description or name of the spare part.

Primary Supplier

Preferred supplier associated with the spare part.

Manufacturer Part Number

Manufacturer's reference number used to identify the spare part.

Branch Name

Branch or location where the spare part usage was recorded.

Quantity Booked

Total quantity of the spare part booked or issued during the selected reporting period.


Pivot Table Sorting & Ranking

The pivot table is configured to provide a ranked view of spare parts usage.

Sorting Logic

The data is sorted in:

  • Descending order by Quantity Booked

This ensures that the spare parts with the highest usage volume appear at the top of the table.

Ranking Column

The pivot table includes a row numbering feature displayed as the Rank column.

  • Rank 1 represents the SKU with the highest total Quantity Booked.

  • Subsequent rows are ranked sequentially (2, 3, 4, and so on).
