Enhancements (4):
Update to Customer Name Visibility in Mobile Job Creation
The customer names were not displayed in the mobile application during job creation. This update ensures that customer names are now visible on site records within the “Raise New Job” page, improving data visibility and user experience.
Simplified shift handling in login workflow.
For users with the Login Screen enabled, the Shift field is now available by default, eliminating the need for additional configuration. This enhancement streamlines the login experience and ensures consistent shift selection behavior.
Bluetooth devices now appear for PATS upload on mobile
PATS upload option in the Mobile App under Job Details and the Forms tab did not display nearby Bluetooth devices , which prevented users from connecting to supported devices and generating forms. This has now been fixed by adding the required Bluetooth device plugin and configuration so nearby devices are shown correctly during PATS upload, allowing users to connect and continue the upload process as expected.
Enhanced Finish Day Behavior Based on Login Mode (iOS)
When Login Mode is disabled on iOS, finishing the day now displays a Stop Booking alert and then navigates back to the Job List screen. This keeps the session active, confirms that bookings have been stopped, and returns the engineer to the main job view instead of appearing to trigger a new login flow.
Fixes (9):
Billable Time option no longer lost after refresh
On mobile, the Add Billable Time option on jobs could disappear after data files were refreshed, even when the Billable Time configuration was enabled. When the setting is enabled, the Add Billable Time option stays available on eligible jobs, including after a full data refresh.
Correct task numbers now shown in Day Summary Enquiry (iOS)
On the iOS mobile app, the Day Summary Enquiry screen was always showing the task number as “0” next to each job number, instead of displaying the real task reference. This made it hard to tell which specific task on a job each line referred to.
The Day Summary Enquiry view has been corrected so that the actual task number linked to each job is now displayed.
Improvement to Mobile Job Creation Handling for Missing Cost Code
Mobile job/quote creation failed when no cost code was provided and the system default cost code value was set to an empty string, resulting in a format exception during integer conversion. This has been addressed to ensure job/quote creation succeeds even when default cost code values are empty, with proper handling and resolution of cost codes across Service and Repair scenarios.
Job number now kept on mobile raised part requests
Part requests raised from the View Part Request option in Work Done on mobile were appearing in the web app as General Requests, without the job number, even when raised from inside a job.The mobile part‑request flow has been updated so that requests raised via View Part Request now carry the related job number through to the web. Part requests created from within a job are correctly linked and visible against that job, in line with requests raised via Raise PR on the web.
Device registration login error resolved
Logging in to the mobile app using a code from the device‑registration process resulted in a server error, and the login did not complete. This blocked access for devices that had been correctly registered via the web. The login flow for registered devices has been corrected so that codes generated during device registration now allow a successful mobile login instead of displaying an error.
Improvement to Horizontal List Selection and Scrolling in Mobile Forms
In mobile forms with horizontally arranged list options, users were unable to change their selection once an option was selected, and scrolling to view all available options was not possible. This update ensures that users can modify their selection after choosing an option and can scroll through the horizontal list to access all available choices.
Addition of Quote Request Notes Visibility on Web
The "Additional Notes" entered during quote request creation in the mobile application were not displayed in the SG web application (Job Quote). The update ensures that additional notes are now captured and displayed on the Quote page in the web application, with data reflecting consistently across both mobile and web platforms.
Removed Validation on Job completion on PDA blocked by open purchase orders
Engineers could be prevented from completing a job on PDA when an open purchase order existed against the job, which interrupted completion even when the work itself was ready to be finished. This has now been changed so that the open purchase order check no longer blocks job completion on PDA, allowing engineers to complete assigned jobs without seeing the open PO alert during the completion process.
Protection added against losing form progress on mobile
On the mobile app, tapping the blank space around an open form instantly closed it and discarded all entered details without any warning. This meant a single accidental tap could lose a large amount of work while completing longer forms.A confirmation prompt has been added so that tapping outside an open form now shows a warning before closing. Form progress is no longer lost immediately by an accidental tap, giving a chance to stay on the form and keep the entered information.
