Enhancements (2):

Activity Change Option Available Before Starting Job

Users can now change the activity in job details before starting work on a job. This update provides greater flexibility in job planning and allows activities to be set or adjusted as needed, improving workflow management for field teams.

Improved Connection Status Accuracy

We have improved the accuracy of the red/green connection status indicator for devices in the mobile app. Previously, some devices that were not actually connected to the system still showed a green status, which could lead to missed job updates and confusion. Now, if a device has not communicated with the system for over 60 seconds, the status icon will automatically turn red, making it clear when a device is offline. Once a successful connection is re-established, the status will return to green. This enhancement ensures users always have an up-to-date and reliable view of device connectivity.

Fixes (4):

Equipment Type Not Displayed When Editing Equipment on Job

When editing equipment on a job in the mobile app, the equipment type field was empty and could not be changed, even though it was visible on the job details screen. This issue has been resolved, and the equipment type now displays correctly when editing.

Incorrect Van Stock Allocation Across Engineers

Some engineers’ van stock was incorrectly linked to other engineers within the same branch. This happened because the system was pulling stock data at the branch level instead of isolating it per engineer. As a result, engineers could see and attempt to book parts that weren’t actually on their own van.This issue has now been resolved. Van stock is correctly tied to the individual engineer, ensuring that both web and mobile apps display accurate, up-to-date quantities. Engineers and office staff can now rely on consistent stock information across platforms, improving job planning and reducing errors.

Note: Please inform all engineers to refresh their stock file the next time they log in. This will clear the cache of any incorrect stock numbers and ensure their data is current.

Work Done Data Now Retained When Awaiting Signature

Previously, when a job was set to 'Awaiting signature' and then revisited to add a signature, any data entered on the Work Done screen was lost. This issue has now been resolved, so all information entered is retained, saving time and preventing the need to re-enter details when collecting signatures.

Barcode Scanner Button Visibility Restored

The barcode scanner button on the Change Equipment page within a job was previously invisible, making it difficult for users to access the barcode scanning function. This issue has been resolved, and the button is now clearly visible and accessible, making it easier to quickly scan equipment barcodes and streamline equipment selection in the mobile app.
