Enhancements (3):
Filtered Equipment and Contact Lists When Creating Quotes
The equipment and contact lists shown when raising a new quote are now filtered to display only records associated with the selected customer site. This improves accuracy and usability by removing unrelated entries and ensuring only relevant information is shown during quote creation.
Message Sync Counter Added to Connection Summary
A counter has been added to the connection summary screen to display the number of messages pending upload to the server. This allows field engineers to easily confirm that their device is syncing properly and helps prevent potential data loss by making unsynced messages visible at a glance.
Restriction on Work Done Notes Outside Active Jobs
A change has been implemented to prevent adding work done notes when not actively working on a job. Previously, it was possible to make updates without accruing time, which could lead to inaccurate records. Work done notes are now only allowed within the context of the currently active job.
Fixes (5):
Job List Scrolling Optimised After Updates
The mobile app now maintains scroll position on the job list screen when updates are applied. Previously, the view would reset to the top due to a full refresh triggered by job updates. This behaviour has been optimised to ensure a smoother and uninterrupted user experience.
Fixed Inconsistent Sorting Results in Job list
An issue causing inaccurate and inconsistent results when using the sorting feature in the main screen filter has been resolved. Previously, selected sorting options would suggest one result but display another upon viewing. The correct flow has now been applied, ensuring reliable and accurate sorting behavior.
Signature Prompts Now Behave Consistently Across All Jobs
The app now correctly handles signature prompts across all job types, including multi-task jobs. Engineers and customers will only be asked to sign when appropriate, ensuring a smoother and more predictable job completion process.
Fixed Issue with Saving Frequent Work Done Notes
A bug was preventing selected frequent work done notes from being saved when chosen from the dropdown list. This was due to a problem with single selection handling. The selection logic has been updated, and notes now save correctly when an option is clicked.
Mobile Message Failures Preventing Time Booking
A data handling issue was causing mobile messages to fail, which in turn prevented time from being booked to jobs and impacted the Utilisation report. The problem stemmed from an empty string being passed instead of a null value. This has been corrected, ensuring time bookings are now processed correctly and any missed time can be uploaded to the relevant jobs.
