Enhancements (4):

New Option to Print Equipment QR Codes from Equipment

A new “Print QR Code” option has been added under the Equipment tab in the Actions menu. This feature generates a QR code for the selected equipment, displaying the Equipment ID beneath it. A Print button allows users to search for nearby Zebra Bluetooth printers and send the QR code image directly for printing. This enhancement streamlines equipment labeling and improves on-site efficiency.

Job List Sorting Now Remembers Your Preference

The app now remembers the selected sorting option in the job list, even after it’s closed and reopened. This enhancement ensures a more consistent and personalized experience when managing jobs.

Improved Display of “Not Required” Forms

To reduce confusion and streamline the user experience, forms marked as “Not Required” will now appear directly in the main list, clearly labelled as such.

Previously, these forms were grouped under a separate “Non Required” section, which remained visible even when no optional forms were present—often leading to confusion.

With this update, optional forms are now integrated into the main list, making it easier to distinguish between required and optional items at a glance

Improved Root Cause Selection with Hierarchy Support

The mobile app now supports viewing root causes in a two-level hierarchy, matching the structure defined in the web app. This enhancement makes it easier to navigate and select the most accurate root cause during job reporting.

Fixes (12):

Job Filter Not Persisting and Search Text Not Clearing

When applying a filter to show only specific job types (e.g., “Repair”), the app would briefly display the filtered list but then revert to showing all jobs, even though the filter appeared to still be active. Additionally, the text from the last search was being retained each time the filter was opened. Both issues have been resolved—filters now persist correctly, and previous search text is cleared as expected.

Improved Job Management

Streamlined the process of managing job notifications. Now, when raising an emergency job, service task, repair task, or adding defects, the merge job notification will no longer require multiple clicks on "No" to cancel.

Job List Appears Blank After Navigating Away

Navigating away from the job list and returning to it was causing the screen to appear blank. Jobs would only reappear after manually changing activity from the menu. This issue has been resolved, and the job list now loads correctly when returning to it.

Job List Not Loading After New App Registration

After registering a new device in the app—by entering the engineer, password, and tag, then loading settings—the job list was not appearing. In some cases, the engineer was shown as “0” in the “Who Am I” screen, and switching engineers did not resolve the issue. This has now been fixed, and job lists load correctly after registration.

Correct Status Display After Selecting “Break” or “No Job”

After completing a task and selecting a next activity such as “Break,” “Other,” or “No Job,” the header was incorrectly showing a job number—usually from the first job in the list—and time tracking would begin on that job. This issue has been resolved. The correct status is now shown, and time is no longer incorrectly logged against unrelated jobs.

Job List Refresh Improved After Job Completion on Another Device

When the same job was assigned to multiple devices, completing it on one device could cause the job list on the other to temporarily go blank during refresh. On some devices, this refresh took longer than expected, leaving users with an empty screen. This behavior has been improved to ensure the job list redraws more smoothly and reliably.

Emergency and Monitoring Jobs No Longer Get Stuck

An issue was causing some emergency or monitoring jobs to become stuck in the “T Job” state, preventing further progress. This has now been resolved, and these job types will move through the workflow as expected.

Multi-Task Job Updates Now Sync Across All Devices

When one engineer completed a task in a multi-task job, the update wasn’t reflected on other engineers’ devices. This caused confusion, as completed tasks still appeared active and couldn’t be started again. This issue has now been resolved, and task updates are synced in real time across all assigned devices.

Improved Responsiveness of Close Buttons

There was an issue where the close (X) icon on certain pop-ups—such as when raising a job or after a job is raised—required multiple taps to dismiss. This has been resolved, and pop-ups now close reliably with a single tap.

Job Forms Not Appearing on Mobile

Forms added to a job before it was issued were not showing up in the mobile app. This issue has been fixed, and all relevant forms now appear as expected.

App Crash During Login and Equipment Test Refresh

An issue was causing the app to crash after logging in, particularly when refreshing equipment test data. The crash could also occur again after re-opening the app and performing any action. This problem has now been resolved.
