Enhancements (9):

Enhancements to Customer Portal

Significant updates have been made to the customer portal to improve functionality and user experience:

  1. Job History Button for Equipment : A new Job History button has been added to the equipment rows. This feature allows users to easily view the job history of their equipment. By clicking the button, users are redirected to the historical tab of the jobs module, pre-filtered to the selected equipment. This enhancement simplifies tracking and managing equipment service history.

These updates will help users better manage and track their equipment and service activities.

Special Characters for Account Names

The system has been enhanced to allow special characters, including the apostrophe ('), in account names. This improvement ensures that customer account names can now include special characters, providing greater flexibility and accuracy in account naming.

Priority Data Export in Job History

To improve data reporting, the priority code is now included when exporting job history from the service call screen to Excel or PDF.

Delivery Address on Purchase Orders

The delivery address field on purchase orders has been enhanced to always include the full address with postcode. Previously, the postcode was missing when delivering to a branch or engineer home address.

Hire Contract Credit Note Sequence

The process for creating a Hire Contract Credit Note has been improved. Previously, clicking on Preview would generate a new sequence number, and then when the credit note was created, it would update the sequence again. Now, a new sequence will only be generated when the credit note is created, not during the preview.

Addition of Notes Field in Goods Received Note Report

To improve the detail and accuracy of the Goods Received Note Report, the notes field has been added to the dictionary.

Addition of Fields in PO Reports

To improve the comprehensiveness and accuracy of PO reports, several new fields have been added. These include Supplier PO No, Supplier Notes, Order For, and Equipment Details Info.

New SSR Dataset for Part Requests

Introducing a new SSR dataset for Part Requests. This update includes all relevant fields, designed to streamline and improve the process for reporting.

Relationship Between SSR Job and EngineerTimesheetsGrouping Dataset

To improve data integration and reporting, a new relationship has been established between the SSR Job and EngineerTimesheetsGrouping dataset. The JobRecordNo column has been added to the EngineerTimesheetsGrouping dataset, enabling a direct link between Job and EngineerTimesheetsGrouping by JobRecordNo.

Fixes (30):

Object Reference Error on PO

Changing the site on a purchase order resulted in an "Object reference not set" error. This occurred when raising a sales order with a customer delivery address and adding parts that required a PO. Clicking the ellipses on the customer site did not allow changes, and clicking the X brought up the error. This problem has been resolved, ensuring that site changes on purchase orders can be made without encountering this error.

Equipment Enquiry Sorting Issue

Adding a filter for Equipment Enquiry and attempting to sort by Status previously resulted in an error. This problem has been resolved, and it is now possible to sort by Status without any issue

Equipment Addition Issue in French Language

An issue was identified where adding equipment to a service contract was not possible when the system language was set to French. This was due to special characters in Equipment Details. The issue has been resolved, and it is now possible to create a service contract and add equipment without any issues.

Quote Preview Error

Users were receiving an error message when previewing quotes due to Equipment ID validation. This validation has been removed, as Equipment ID is not a mandatory field.

Scheduler Tooltip Timing Issue

The tooltip of notes in the scheduler displayed start and end times that did not align with the note. This issue has been resolved, ensuring that the start and end times in the tooltip now accurately reflect the note's timing.

Manager's Details Screen Issue

An issue was causing the manager's details screen to display all backend details when selecting a team. This occurred during the steps: Edit Engineer > Edit Team > Select Manager. The problem has been fixed, ensuring that only relevant system users are displayed instead of irrelevant users

Resolution of User Group Creation Issue

An issue was identified where adding a new user group allowed the save action but did not actually create the group. When attempting to add a user group with an existing name, an alert message will now be displayed indicating a duplicate name, and the input box will clear the value

Completed Date Visibility Issue in Job History

The completed date was not visible when viewing job history via the service call screen due to issues with height and the scrollbar. This problem has been resolved, and the completed date is now visible.

Job Description from Quote Fix

An issue has been fixed where the job description was not being pulled from the "Work to be carried out" field when a job was raised from a quote. The system now correctly pulls the job description from the quote, ensuring accurate and consistent information transfer.

Job Control Export Discrepancy

Identified an issue where the job control export displayed different results compared to job control. This discrepancy was due to the handling of engineers' schedules, which led to inconsistencies. We have now resolved this problem, ensuring that all records are accurately archived and reflected in the job control export. This update guarantees consistency and reliability in managing engineers' schedules and job control data.

Manual Stock Receipt Bin Selection

An issue has been resolved where manually entering the bin number in the textbox during manual stock receipt creation caused a null reference error for the quantity. The bin input box is now disabled to prevent manual typing, and a button is enabled for bin selection, ensuring accurate quantity entry and preventing errors.

VAT Code Inheritance for Stock Replenishment

To streamline the stock replenishment process, the VAT code on PO for SKU will now be inherited from the supplier. This enhancement ensures that the correct VAT code is automatically applied

Reorder Point and Quantity Display Fix

An issue has been resolved where the reorder point and reorder quantity were not showing correct values when applying the engineer location filter in stock enquiry. The fix ensures that these values are now accurately displayed based on the selected engineer location.

Scheduled Reports Data Issue

An issue was causing scheduled reports to not populate with data from the SSR. This problem stemmed from inconsistencies in data retrieval processes. The issue has now been resolved, ensuring that all scheduled reports are accurately populated with the correct data.

Reorder Report Discrepancy

An issue was causing the reorder report to not match the stock on hand and reorder quantities shown on the stock record. This problem has been resolved, ensuring that all locations are accurately reflected in the reorder report.

Purchase Order Line Quantity Issue

An issue was identified where changing the quantity to 0, then increasing it to 1 and attempting to save in the Purchase Order Line within Equipment Deal resulted in an error. This problem has been fixed, ensuring that quantity adjustments can be saved without errors.

Service Contract Invoice Generation Screen

An error occurred when sorting any column on the Service Contract Invoice Generation screen. This issue has been addressed to ensure a smooth user experience.

Stock Take Quantity Issue

An issue was identified where entering a quantity greater than 1 for items with mandatory serial numbers during stock take resulted in an error. Despite the validation reducing the quantity to 1 in the UI, the stock value increased by the originally entered amount upon saving. This problem has been resolved, ensuring that the quantity is correctly validated and reflected in stock take processes.

Invoice Address Display Issue

An issue was identified where selecting "Invoice To Site ID" did not update the invoice address on the draft invoice in the "Hire Contract Invoice" screen, which continued to show the customer address instead of the site address. This problem has been resolved, ensuring that the correct site address is now displayed on the draft invoice when "Invoice To Site ID" is selected.

Date Picker Double-Click Issue Fix

An issue has been resolved where quickly clicking through months in the date picker while editing a line in ESS would register a double-click event on the line behind, redirecting users to the raise new job page. This fix ensures that the date picker functions correctly without unintended navigation.

Site creation error

When creating a site using a customer account address, users couldn't add a missing postcode directly on the site creation screen. User had to update the postcode in the customer account first. We have enhanced this so that if customer account address is missing a postcode, users can add it directly on the site creation screen. If the postcode is already present, the field remains read-only.

Branch Filter Fix

The issue preventing the application of the branch filter on the Submit Job screen has been resolved. Users can now successfully apply the branch filter when viewing the submitted job screen, ensuring accurate filtering and improved job management.

Sub-Component Equipment Editing Fix

Issues related to editing sub-component equipment have been resolved. When a sub-component equipment is edited, it now displays with the proper layout, allowing updates to be made seamlessly. Additionally, navigating to sub-component equipment will display results based on the search filter without any errors.

Job Allocation Fix

We have fixed an issue where jobs were incorrectly issued to both the selected and removed engineers. Jobs will be issued only to the engineers selected by the user, ensuring accurate job allocation.

Kit Item Addition in Stock Enquiry

An issue where kit parts added from the second page of the paginated kit item list were not being added to the kit has been resolved. The system now correctly saves items from any page of the paginated list, ensuring all selected kit parts are added accurately.

Service Quote Next Service Date Alignment

An issue where the next service date did not match the sequence start date on the service quote has been resolved. The system now ensures that the next service date aligns accurately with the sequence start date, providing consistent and reliable scheduling for service quotes.

Purchase Order Discount Issue

An issue with purchase orders where discounts were incorrectly applied has been resolved. Previously, when removing the discount from the third line and disabling the supplier discount, the document still showed the discount value for line 3, despite the UI displaying the correct full value.

Data Loading Issue in SalesOrderV2 Dataset

An issue where no data was loading for the SalesOrderV2 dataset report due to an incorrect AccessPermissionCode has been resolved. The access permission has been updated to SALESORDERV2, ensuring that the SSR SalesOrderV2 dataset now populates data correctly in both reports and dashboards.

Selling Price Box Issue in Quick Order

An issue where the selling price box behaved unexpectedly when adding an item to a sales order via quick order has been resolved. Previously, attempting to type in the selling price box would kick the user out after entering a single digit. This fix ensures that users can now enter the selling price without any interruptions, providing a smoother and more reliable experience.

Accurate Labour Rate Calculations

Fixed an issue where the system did not accurately update the total labour cost when modifying the hours in a saved Quote. Now, when adding engineer time and selecting a Cost Code, the system correctly calculates the total based on the sell price, cost price, and hours. Any changes to the hours in an edited Quote will be accurately reflected in the saved value, ensuring precise and reliable labour rate calculations.
