Enhancements (2):
Improved Advance Invoicing Setup
We have made an improvement as to how Service Geeni manages a specific scenario relating to a Contract invoice, where invoicing is set to be in advance and the Contract start date is before the start date of the invoice. The first invoice will now cover the arrears period from the Contract start date up to the Invoice start date, minus 1 day, with a second invoice in advance starting from the required Invoice date.
Example: Contract Start Date: Jan 1 2025, Invoice Date: Feb 1st 2025, Invoicing monthly in advance
2025 Jan 1 to 2025 Jan 31 (arrears)
2025 Feb 1 to 2025 Feb 28 (advance)
2025 Mar 1 to 2025 Mar 31 (advance) and so on
Please note that this change will only apply to new contracts starting after this update. Any existing contracts will continue to follow the old invoicing sequence.
Mobile Release

Fixes (8):
Job Control Export to Excel
We have fixed an issue with the Job Control export to Excel. Previously, when selecting columns to export, the output did not match the selected columns, causing confusion and inconvenience. With this update, the Job Control export will now accurately reflect the columns you have chosen, ensuring that all options work correctly and the exported data matches your selections.
Equipment Transfer and Site Locations
We have resolved an issue with equipment transfers that affected site location information. Previously, when transferring equipment to a new site, the site location from the old site was retained, leading to mismatches in site information.
With this update, when transferring equipment to a new site, the site location will now be correctly updated.
Equipment Catalogue ID Spec Fields
We have resolved an issue where custom fields added to the Equipment Catalogue were not functioning as expected. Previously, when custom fields were added to the catalogue, their values were not carried over to the purchase order line and had to be re-entered. Additionally, these values were lost again when the equipment was goods received and a new equipment record was created or updated.
Hire Scheduler Screen Data viewing issue
We have fixed a glitch in the hire scheduler screen that affected the view when toggling the time view to 4 weeks, only 16 days were displayed, and there was no way to scroll to see additional dates. Additionally, data for both 2-week and 4-week views were not fully displayed. With this update, data will now be fully visible, ensuring a seamless and complete view.
Miscellaneous Items UI issues on Job Quote
We have addressed an issue with entering prices for miscellaneous items on job quotes. Previously, each time you entered a number, you had to re-click on the box, and there were problems with decimal points and the tab button in some pop-up boxes. These issues have now been resolved, ensuring a smoother and more intuitive experience when entering prices and navigating through fields.
Job Control Engineer Filter
We have resolved an issue with the job control screen where using the engineer filter did not work as expected. Previously, when you selected the engineer option to filter jobs for a specific engineer, the filter would stop applying as soon as other filters or sorting options were used. With this update, the engineer filter will now consistently apply, even when additional filters or sorting options are selected, ensuring that you can accurately view jobs assigned to a specific engineer without any interruptions.
Invoicing Schedule Alignment with Contract Expiration
We have fixed an issue where the invoicing schedule was not aligning correctly with contract revisions. Previously, if a contract was revised, the system sometimes generated incorrect invoice periods. For example, after correctly generating the first arrear invoice from November 1, 2023, to April 1, 2024, the system incorrectly scheduled the next period from November 1, 2024, to November 1, 2025, instead of aligning with the contract's expiration date. This update ensures that the invoicing schedule now accurately reflects the contract terms, preventing any misalignment or duplicate invoices. The final scheduled period will correctly end on the contract's expiration date, providing a consistent and reliable invoicing process.
Error message while editing a job
We have fixed an issue where an error message would persist and block you from editing a new job. Previously, when editing a job from the job history in a popup and then closing the popup, the error message would still appear when trying to edit a different job. This update ensures that the error message is now correctly cleared when closing the popup, allowing user to edit another job without any interruptions.
